Photos and Description of this London holiday apartment Earls Court SQUARE ' Bijou ' studio

What a HORRID surprise. Thank you to the 4 American girls from CHICAGO who trashed our Lovely Place . Flushed Spaghetti and peaches down the SANIFLO . Left alcohol bottles all over the place, marked the walls and literally wrecked our daughters gorgeous flat. Not being pleased with all the above they have since tried to leave us negative feedback. we SHOULD HAVE KICKED THEM out, however , as we were not ' experienced' in dealing with this type of guests, we tolerated them. Such a big mistake. Sadly they did not know how to appreciate finer things in life or ... someone else's property. We bought from: Harrods Ligne roset Liberty of London Heals of London Sorry we did not shop at Asda or Wallmart!!!! We had dozens of appreciative American Guests since...... Thankfully NONE like the 4 Chicago lot. I invite you to read the description of this flat under the ... heading FACILITIES. Thank you

Perfect week, can't wait to go back!

stuutel Amsterdam
Review Submitted: July 11, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
I've stayed in the lovely Pink Palace the first week of july and it was just perfect.
4 girls in an ultimate pink appartment in central London :D
I saw the pictures online before we went but it was bigger then I expected and I love how everything was pink!
Before I got there the contact with the owners was perfect and while I was there I only needed to text or call and there was immediate response.
The beds were comfy, the bath/shower was great. We had a squirl in the tree behind the house, the tube station is around the corner, so is our fave M&S food centre. You can walk to High Street Kensington, lovely shops all around.. what more can you wish for?
We went there as we were going to see the Take That concerts in Wembley. But we are already thinking of coming back again. We really, really enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for everything, the nice chats, the cupcakes, the wonderful service, carrying our heavy suitcases and most of all for renting that lovely appartment to us.
with regards, Sarah
Owner's Response: They were "fresher than Tulips".....more vibrant than ..Van Gogh's Colours.. and they behaved like TRUE LADIES.
Dank U veel and Tot zeins

A home away from home

Piwi Barcelona. Spain
Review Submitted: April 25, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
It has been the first time we've enjoyed this type of stay away from home, and it definitely won't be the last. We are a couple and their 11-year-old daughter. This was the most convenient place we could have expected. The situation is excellent. Two nimutes walk from tube station. A lot of different shops from where to buy the most necessary thing during our stay. The house is just perfect for a family. Everything is clean and well organized. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet The owners are helpfull without being intrusive.
We've been to London several times and I must say this has been the best stay ever in relation to the place where we could rest and relax. Thank you to the owners for such a great holiday!

A wonderful stay!

Review Submitted: April 21, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
My family and I greatly enjoyed staying at this place which is very well located, cosy and above all perfectly clean. It is suitable for a couple and 2 children.
The owner was very nice and came to greet us at the tube station (only two minutes' walk from the studio)he was also very helpful in showing us round the borough and insisted we call him if there was anything we needed.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this flat to anyone wishing to spend a few days in London, the description is totally accurate as well as the facilities mentioned and we really hope to come back next year.Everyone knows finding an accomodation in London isn't an easy thing so booking at this place means the end of your troubles.
The area is also packed with cheap and nice restaurants and a large supermarket is only a 10 minutes' walk from the flat.
We hope you will enjoy the place as much as we did!
Owner's Response: Wonderful Guests .
It would be great if they moved to the UK , as they would make ideal friends
Thank you again

Fantastic Studio! Brilliant stay!

carly88 Newcastle Upon Tyne
Review Submitted: March 25, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
myself and 3 of my closest friends have just returned from a weekend stay in the Pink Palace, and we were absolutely thrilled.

on arriving in london i contacted Chris who met us at the front of the building. a lovely gentleman who seemed intent on making our stay as comfortable as possible.

what can i say about our first impressions...WOW!! all four of us are very 'girlie' so to see the Pink Palace for the first time was so exciting!! beuatifully decorated with everything we could of needed, we were so happy to settle in.

the location of the property is excellent, we were all slightly worried about where we would find to stay, but earls court square was very safe and in a really great area, the architecture in the area is gorgeous. tube easily walking distance away, with a brilliant little irish pub just around the corner, perfect for some hearty pub grub after a long day of shopping!!

i would definately recommend this studio for a 2-4 females like us, a close group of friends who need somewhere glamorous and stylish to get ready for a weekend in the big city. we were only really looking for somewhere safe to leave our bags and somewhere to get ready in the evening, but ended up with a studio that we actually wanted to spend time in, so it was an absolute bonus.

the girls and I really dont have anything bad to say about the studio, it was everything and more that we could of hoped for. even small things like a clothes rack to hang our dresses on made such a big difference, we felt really 'spoilt' if thats the correct term!

the correspondence from chris and co. was great, i know that chris went out of his way to make sure the Pink Palace was available for my birthday weekend, whereas many other landlords we spoke to seemed rather uninterested.

it was the small things that really made the difference.

to summerise, the girls and I had such a fantastic stay, the only bad thing being the 'blues' we all have from having to leave!!! :(

thanks once again for a really special stay.

Carly, Carlie, Sian and Rachel.
Owner's Response: What a breath of Fresh air...... Ideal Guests
Thank you again so Much
Best Regards
Helena.

Good Location, Bad Accomodations

Misha R. Chicago, IL
Review Submitted: January 29, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
My 3 friends and I are from Chicago, and we recently went on a trip to London for the first time. We very much enjoyed staying in Earl's Court. The neighborhood is quite charming and is close to many other well-known towns and attractions.

Although the location of the apartment was great, I cannot say the same thing about the accommodations. The apartment was definitely cute, but it was a bit cramped for 4 girls. Also, it is important to know that you can't flush ANYTHING down the toilet, including toilet paper. The pipes in the building are old and can’t handle having toilet paper thrown down them. We were instructed to throw any used toilet paper in the garbage. I was personally quite disgusted by this notion and was upset that we were not told about this "old pipe" situation before we agreed to stay in the apartment.

The lady who rented us the apartment, Angelika, was not very accommodating. When we agreed to stay in the apartment, we were told that we would have a wireless internet connection in the unit. However, after we arrived we discovered that the connection was not working and unfortunately remained that way throughout the entire course of our trip. Angelika did not seem bothered with the fact that the internet connection was not working, even though we told her numerous times that it would be the only way for us to communicate with our families back home. She said that she would call the internet company, and if the problem couldn't be fixed right away then she would bring us a wireless internet card to use. Although our laptops already had wireless capabilities, we figured that it wouldn't hurt to try using a wireless card as well. However, once Angelika left our apartment after collecting our deposit, we did not hear back from her the rest of the week nor did she ever bring us a wireless card. When we finally got in touch with her 2 days before we left, she did not even bother to ask if our internet was working. I found this unprofessional and somewhat rude. We were all quite upset because we were barely able to communicate with our families back home. We were also relying on the internet to get information and directions to some of the towns and attractions that we planned on visiting.

Overall, my friends and I greatly enjoyed our trip to London. As I aforementioned, staying in Earl's Court was very pleasant, and the location is great. However, I would not recommend staying in this particular apartment.
