Stone Cottage is located on a hill slope with oceanfront views. Features include spacious living/dining room with open fire, patio with sitting out area and large modern fitted kitchen area. Two en-suite bedrooms with wooden floors. Bedroom 1 – 1 x double bed. Bedroom 2 – 1 x double bed. 2 Bedroom - sleeps 4 people. Great escapes and getaways with panoramic oceanic views and foreshore frontage, enjoying the spectacular sunsets, snugly set into the Burren coastline known as the Irish Riviera. Being an excellent touring base for the West of Ireland, full of traditional pubs with a warm welcome and restaurants serving freshly caught seafood only a short drive away. We have a selection of excellent self catering holiday homes/cottages equipped with all the mod cons. Located at Fanore, in the West Burren, West of Ireland, County Clare, in close proximity to Doolin, Lisdoonvarna, Ballyvaughan, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Lahinch, Kinvara and Galway City.

Fanore is a small village in Co. Clare, Ireland. It is situated on the Atlantic Ocean. It is renowned for its beautiful sandy beach from which its name is derived (fainne or - gaelic for ring of gold). It consists of a pub, and a post office/shop & restaurant. It has a surf school in close proximity to the beach. One of the many special things about Fanore is the fact that it lies on the edge of the Burren which is world renowned for its unique flora and fauna. Ballyvaughan is a close-by harbour village. It is located on the south shores of Galway Bay, in the northwest corner of The Burren. It is also known as The Gateway to the Burren; the Burren is an area of great rocky expanse and one of the world's truly unique places.

Ailwee Caves: Unlike the vast caverns you may have encountered, Aillwee Cave is unique to the geology of the Burren and it enables you to explore a little of what lies under the exciting landscape. This stunning creation of nature was formed by the melt waters of a prehistoric ice age. The cave, carved out of limestone cuts into the heart of the mountain. The story of Aillwee Cave began millions of years ago when streams sinking underground on Aillwee Mountain started dissolving channels through the lines of weakness in the limestone.

Traditional Irish Music: Any visit to Ireland is incomplete if you do not experience a traditional Irish music session. The art of Irish music has been handed down over the centuries from family to family and it is very strong in the Shannon Region, and in County Clare in particular, the so-called Home of Irish Traditional Music. Traditional groups play in hundreds of pubs throughout the year, and the festival calendar has a wide range of Fleadhs (music festivals) to choose from.
