Lourmarin holiday villa

This is a beautifully furnished, clean and well maintained house. Equiped to a very high standard by the friendly owners, there are many personal touches in the house, giving it the feel of a home rather than a basic, functional rental property. Downstairs rooms have shutters and french doors out onto the terrace that surrounds the house. Great features. A spacious house over a number of levels, it provides easy,comfortable,stylish living. Outside there is a super, secluded pool and large garden to provide welcome shade when needed. The poolside summer kitchen is an excellent facility and adds to the overall sense of easy,comfortable living.

The nearby village has a real ‘French’ feel to it with interesting places to explore and a number of good restaurants and bars. There are some small specialist shops there and a much larger supermarket a very short drive away making it is easy to stock up.

For the more energetic, this is a great base for exploring all that Provence has to offer, with many places of interest within easy reach.

This is a fantastic house, in a super location, great for family groups or groups of friends looking to rest, relax and chill out. Highly recommended.

A very comfortably furnished house in secluded yet accessible surroundings. The house was immaculately prepared for our arrival, the pool clean and inviting and the garden well tended.
There is a short walk to the pretty village of Lourmarin with it's excellent restaurants and boutiques and the lovely chateau where we were lucky enough to attend a concert given by an internationally renowned painist. A truly memorable evening.
There are some good walks around the village vineyards and many ancient villages close by.
We will definitely return for another relaxing and comfortable stay in this special villa. and strongly recommend it others.

We have been to this house twice in the last three years and have booked again for 2010. The house, garden and pool are fantastic and everything is impeccably maintained. It is a luxurious home away from home. The house is wonderfully large and well equipped. The children had great times roaming the extensive garden and swimming in the pool whilst the adults pondered what to eat next whilst sitting on the terrace. Very relaxing! Lourmarin is a delightful village, with great bakeries, local produce and artisan inspired shops, and a weekly market. It is also exceedingly pretty and pleasant to walk around with little winding streets and historic architecture. A car is definitely recommended as the surrounded countryside is well worth exploring. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to our next stay.
