This is how a gite should be run!

Gary and Fiona should run classes on how to operate holiday cottages. From the warm welcome, with wonderful home produce, good company and advice about the locality, to the attention to detail within the gite - the equipment available, cleanliness and provision of simple things like washing up liquid and a dishcloth (believe me that's not standard in most places); we couldn't fault it. Our children were similarly well catered for - it's not always easy to fill gaps in the day when your children are older. Here they had a basketball hoop, table-tennis, darts, table football and the really big plus point - bikes. Even if we'd had little ones, there were so many quality things in the gite for them to play with, even a play area upstairs!
The gite is in easy reach of Avranches, Granville and Mont St Michel (get there early in summer as it gets packed), and there are lovely beaches at Jullouville and St Pair sur mer. The fishing lake at Etange was brilliant. You turn up, they give you bait, a bag and a rod, and the kids can catch trout for tea!
I would certainly recommend this for a family holiday.
