La Maison Figaz is a 150yr old french farmhouse tastefully converted into 2, 3 bedroom gites, located in the peaceful Normandy Countryside, yet only 15mins from superb sandy beaches, so we are perfect for your self catering, summer holiday rental. The property borders Frances premier Salmon river, The La See, so its ideal for fishing. Fully enclosed large garden with garden furniture and 2lge stone BB Q's, enclosed large courtyard, and off road parking. The gites are fully equipped with gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave & washing machine. Travel cot (with mattress & bedding) and highchair provided if required. Gite1...Bedroom 1, kingsize 4 poster bed (ideal for romantics) with washhand basin, Bedroom 2, double, bedroom 3, twin bedded. Lounge with sky tv. Kitchen/diner with log burner. Downstairs shower with seperate toilet. Games room, and lge range of bikes provided from age 2 - Adult.

Travel cot and Highchair provided on request..Downstairs.. Kitchen, lounge with sky free to view tv, & french doors leading out on to the courtyard and gardens. Separate dining room, bathroom & toilet with bath and shower above bath. Upstairs.. King Size bedroom, double, and triple room with single bed 7 bunk beds with a large selection of toys for the kids. sleeps 7. Outside.. Large courtyard excellent for the kids on bikes ( Large selection of bikes provided from age 2-adult). Games room with darts and table tennis. Basketball net and balls. Delightful unspoilt surroundings we also have ducks chickens, geese (friendly) and 2 cats and shetland pony.

A must is a visit to Mt St Michel, and also a trip to Bayeaux to see the famous Bayeaux tapestry. Take a drive to see the famous DDay landings. And just 10mins away from us is the Etange val du see, which is 2 trout lakes, 1 for adults and the other is ideal for the kids to catch a trout or two, then bring them back and cook them on the BBQ.

We stayed at our first ever gite this summer and would certainly want to do so again. Fiona and Gary were really welcoming and made the stay most enjoyable. The accommodation was good and the garden lovely - our youngest even learned to ride a bike in the orchard and loved talking to the chickens. Recommended to those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and really relax.
