Flexible Catered Options:
Chalet Rosablanche can be booked on an entirely self-catering basis or you may like to take advantage of our delicious, freshly prepared home-cooked evening meals.
Our 2 course meals are freshly prepared by the experienced chef from a neighbouring fully catered chalet. They are well-presented and delivered to the chalet for you to pop into the oven, so that they will be ready for you to enjoy whenever it suits you.
At the time of booking we can provide you with our menu of 2 course meals. All you need to decide is which evenings, if any, you would like to take advantage of this service (from just 1 night or 6 nights). All menus are for a minimum of 4 people and are 25 Swiss francs per head.

Menu 1 - Saturday:
Rich meat Lasagne,
Mixed green salad & dressing,
Garlic bread;
Chocolate gateau.
Menu 2 - Sunday:
Creamy pork and leek fricassee,
Sauteed potato,
Fresh Green beans;
Exotic fruit tiramisu.
Menu 3 - Monday:
Fish and prawn pie topped with light puff pastry,
Fresh seasonal vegetables,
New potatoes;
Apricot Bread & butter pudding.
Menu 4 - Tuesday:
Chicken curry with peppers and onions (mild or hotter as preferred),
Poppadums,
Pilau rice;
Vanill panna cotta with caramel sauce.
Menu 5 - Thursday:
Turkey tagine,
Vegetable and preserved lemon couscous;
Lemon tart and cream.
Menu 6 - Friday
Boeuf bourguignon, mushrooms and onions,
Buttered noodles;
Frozen raspberry mousse.
Shopping Hampers:
To make things even easier, we offer a 'shopping hamper' which will be in the chalet ready for you when you arrive. We have created a shopping list of essentials, from breakfast items to wine and beer, you chose which you would like from the list and we do the shopping for you. We can provide you with the list when you make your booking. If you could then return it 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment for the shopping hamper can be made directly to the keyholder in Swiss francs.
Ski:
As part of the 4 Valleys, La Tzoumaz is a fantastic base for gaining access to the 400km of ski runs and 100 ski lifts, via the new high-speed gondola direct to Savoleyres above Verbier.
With good snow cover it is possible to ski back to the chalet, although beginners may decide not to. It is only a short walk down from the nearest piste, alternatively the free shuttle bus stop is less than 100m. It is 800m down the hill to the gondola , 400m to Babylift and Etablon chairlift.
La Tzoumaz Ski School offers expert tuition for all levels. Absolute beginners are catered for at the ‘Babylift’, before progressing to the gondola and chair lifts in this area. Snow boarders will be pleased to find a permanent boarder-cross on the Taillay run. The 10km Luge Run from the top of the gondola adds an exciting challenge to be tackled at all levels of ability. There are plenty of well-marked snow-shoe trails and heliskiing is offered from Croix de Coeur with trips over to beautiful Rosablanche.
