The apartment if spacious, well equipped, furnished to a high standard and just 10/15 minutes walk from the beautiful Blue Flag beaches of the Mar Menor. There is a large supermarket 3 minutes walk away and plenty of bars and restaurants within 10/15 minute walk. It is situated in a small complex of 74 similar low rise apartments and nestled in a peaceful Spanish residential area. The gated pool area is safe for children, with a separate children's pool and the complex itself is secure with gates and entry phone. A large balcony overlooks the 25 metre swimming pool and provides side mountain views. It is suitable for disabled people as there is a lift and wheelchair access to all parts of the complex. The apartment has two bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin, both with fitted wardrobes, a bathroom with shower, bath and bidet and a large kitchen with a separate utility area. There is also a Playstation 2. Close to Murcia airport, and in walking distance of all amenities, a car is not necessary

Los Alcazares is a small town situated on the Mar Menor which is the largest salt water lagoon in Europe and its crystal clear waters, few waves and gentle slopes make it the ideal destination for families and water sports enthusiasts alike. There are several beach and tapas bars on the promenade which runs the whole length of the beach into the main town of Los Alcazares. There are several golf courses within 30 minutes drive, the world famous La Manga, Roda, Villamartin, Compoamor, Las Ramblas to name a few. Visit the local market every Saturday which is a 2 minute walk and pick up a bargain. The Roman city of Cartagena is a 20 minute drive You can sit in a bar by the harbour or climb up the hill to the fortress and enjoy the views. The historic city of Murcia is just 30 minutes by car where there is a fabulous Cathedral which is well worth a visit. The area boasts an average of 320 days sunshine a year and has very mild winters which makes it ideal to visit out of season.

Golf: The apartment is in an ideal area for golf enthusiasts. There are several major golf courses, the most famous being La Manga which is a 30 minute drive. Others to name are Las Ramblas, Campoamor, Villamartin and Roda.

Fun Days Out: There are two waterparks a short drive away - one in Torrevieja and the other in Murcia. There is another larger waterpark called Aqualandia which is in Benidorm (one and a half hour's drive). Also in Benidorm you will find Terra Mitica, a theme park which is well worth a visit.
