The house of Rosana and Milan in Bilice is an oasis of calmness and idyll. Bilice is located in a bay. On the left side, the saltwater flows from the open sea, on the right side, there is the freshwater of the National Park Krka. It takes 5 km to Sibernik and 13 km to the National Park. We rent a 35 m² apartment (including an 8 m² terrace), which offers 2-4 sleeps. It is small, but fine, and it has air conditioning, satellite TV (Premiere), Internet, safe and bikes to rent, if you want to make a tour through Bilice. You can use a motorboat (25 stkm), if you want to explore the surroundings. You can also go fishing or water skiing. In the evening, just relax in the garden. The grill belonging to the house is at your disposal. A shady parking lot is near the house. The owners will inform you about delicacy restaurants and shopping facilities. You can make trips to Roski Slap, the Franciscan monastery Visovac, Skradin. For a change, you can go to the beaches in the close.

Bilice is a small town with approx. 300 inhabitants, in the middle of Dalmatia. It is located in a huge bay, and borders the National Park Krka. You can reach Bilice by boat as well. The Krka (72 m long) springs in the mountains Dinar at Knin and flows into the sea, at Sibenik. The river Krka builds 7 waterfalls (Skradinski Bug, Roski Slap etc.), which are 200-400 m large. The beauty of the big canyon runs over the cascades, the geo morphological forms, grottos, green valleys and rich vegetation, with its rare plants and birds. The small island Visovac with its Franciscan monastery is located st the lake Visovacko Jezero, which originates as the biggest enlargement of the river Krka. The region at the river has numerous traces of aborigines. The oldest discoveries are dated back to the Palaeolithic. On the right bank of the Krka, from Skradin to Skradinski prow, you can find the rests of an aqueduct of the Roman Scardona, and the ruins of Croatian strongholds from the 14th century.

Notes: The house is has an extremely modern design and was finished in 2005. It is finely and exclusively arranged. Except for the bedroom, there are other possibilities to stay overnight. You can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. The apartment is ideal for 2 people. The couple Cuka have invested all their creativity in this apartment, so that you can find outer walls, trees surrounded by small stonewalls, a big garden grill and fountain. By night you can marvel at the wonderful, romantic illumination.

Entertainment: In the middle of August, the Dalmatian Chansons take place in front of the Jakobs cathedral. The Sibeniker children festival is also famous, and it takes place in July. Furthermore, there are the concerts in the Nikolaus stronghold, on the Sibeniker canal, and there is also a musical festival in Murter. Summer festivals traditionally take place in Vodice, Pakovo Selo, Bilice, Drnis, in the middle of August. The Alka tournaments in August are very famous. There are dancing evenings organized by hotels. You ca enjoy the nightlife in the disco Hazienda, near Vodice. You have the possibility to make trips to Split and Dubrobnik, for a change. We also suggest an easy climbing on the mountain Promina, with the working farm Einkehrhaus and a wonderful view.

Culture: In Sibenik, there is a cultural, touristic attraction, namely ‚The Four Fountains’, an interactive attraction, which tells a story about Sibenik, the town with the undiscovered mysteries, through seven images (The Treasure of Sibenik, drinks, food, boat bridges in the region of Sibenik, the mystery of the past ghosts, etc.). These are exposed in thematic coffee bars and souvenir shops. In the museum of the town Sibenik, there are contemporary exhibits, such as the exhibit of the painter Izvor Oreb. In 1431 the construction of Jakob cathedral began. Nobody knows whose concept it was. After the master craftsman Bonino d Milano, Juraj Matejev Dalmatinac undertook the construction. He built the baptistery, the sacristy, and created the figures of Peter and Paul, the angels, two lads and a crown of 34 heads of lions and people. Each head is different than the other. This is how Juraj eternalized his contemporary, who came from many different directions.

Sports: For the ones found of tennis, there are many possibilities near the hotels Solaris or Vodice. Moreover, in the tourist strongholds on the beaches, a lot of possibilities are at your disposal: you can rent paddleboats, paragliding, banana boats, etc.

Wir haben einen herrlichen Kroatien Urlaub verlebt.
Das Apartment Rozana war sauber und gepflegt und entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Das Apartment liegt unmittelbar an einer schwach befahrenen Dorfstraße.

Die Beschreibung des Apartments im Internet war korrekt. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr gut betreut.

Es ist empfehlenswert mit dem Auto anzureisen, da die Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie das offene Meer nicht zu Fuß zu erreichen sind.

Wir werden diesen Urlaub in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten und können das Apartment mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

Eintrag von Fam. Annette und Siegfried Gerwien aus Augsburg: Wir waren ca. 5 Jahre lang in den 80-ern jeden Sommer in Bilice Vrulje. Das war immer ein toller Urlaub. Da es sich hier um einen kleinen Seitenarm des Süßwassersees handelt, lag unser Sportboot dort immer sehr sicher. Der Wasserweg nach draußen aufs Meer ist auch sehr interessant und abwechslungsreich. Wir hatten auch sehr enge Bindung mit der Familie. Nico und Nevenka waren tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben sogar etwas Kroatisch gelernt, um mit ihnen ein wenig sprechen zu können. Damals war das mit dem Englisch und Deutsch noch nicht so. Wenn wir kein Wohnmobil hätten, würden wir auf jeden Fall dort wieder logieren.
