‘Podere La Serra’ is a very special luxury rental villa with breathtaking panoramic views of the beautiful Apuane hills. This Grade II listed self-catering villa is a converted farmhouse and has been restored with loving attention to detail, with character features such as the traditional woodburning stove, huge chestnut beams and sweeping staircases. Luxury mod cons have been added such as the stunning infinity pool, looking out onto 50 miles of mesmerising Tuscan hills and valleys, as well as internal features such as ensuite Jacuzzis, Sky TV and wifi access. Outside, a lovely shaded pergola draped with purple bougainvillea is the setting for al fresco lunches and more often than not a glass of wine produced from the Podere's own vines. Set amongst sleepy Tuscan villages and within 60 acres of private vineyards, olive groves and porcini woodland, this villa affords a wonderful sense of peaceful seclusion, whilst only 10 minutes from Fivizzano and just an hour from Pisa airport.

This beautiful villa is located just 30 minutes from the coast at Lerici, the gateway to the Cinque Terre, a world heritage site with picturesque fishing villages dotted along the coast. The Italian riviera is just 40 minutes away, with Portofino and ... providing ample shopping, sunbathing and nightlife. The villa is a 45 minute drive from Lucca, and 1.5 hrs from Florence, both excellent day trips with fantastic shopping. Pisa is an hour's drive. Podere La Serra is also within 40 minutes of Cerreto, a small but perfectly formed ski resort open from late December - April with excellent Red and Blue skiing. You can hire scuba and snorkelling equipment on the Cinque Terre, go horse trekking through the mountains just 15 minutes round the corner, ski in the Appenine mountains, see the sights in Florence, Pisa and Lucca or tour our outstanding local restaurants, where you can still eat like a king for the cost of a sandwich at home.
