Badger watching:
We have a number of badgers who visit us regularly. We are always pleased to share the pleasure of watching these delightful creatures with our visitors, for which we ask only for a small contribution to the cost of the feed we use to attract them.
We run our Small holdling without the use of any chemicals so Cherry Bossom Farm is the ideal place for: Bird Watchers (We have dozens of species including the rare Cirl Bunting), Walkers (Dartmoor and the Coast Path are within a 20 minute drive), Garden lovers (Eden Project is a couple of hours away but many beautiful gardens are very much closer), anyone interested in Wildlife or just looking for a Low Tech family holiday.
Dogs:
Dogs are welcome, by arrangement, provided we are assured that they will be denied access to bedrooms, and that owners will bring suitable bedding for them and coverings for our furniture. We do not allow dogs to be left in the building whilst owners are out, other than by agreement at the time. This is not just your holiday but it is our home and we have cats, chickens and ducks, all of whom are scared by even the best behaved dogs so:
PLEASE NOTE: Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on our premises. (outside the building) There are NO exeptions to this. There is a nine acre field next to us (the entrance is 30 yards from our front gate) which is available for dog exercise off the lead (but still under owner control). All dog mess must be bagged and placed in appropriate waste containers.
Changeover day:
Please note that the property will not be available before 3pm on changeover day and must be vacated by 10am to allow time for cleaning etc.
Please leave the property as you found it and make sure that you clear away ALL of your rubbish before you leave.
Other Activities:
Steam Railways, prehistoric caves, sealife zoo, balloon ascent, potteries, glassworks, model village, bygones living museum, and many more...
