Exactly midway between Catania and Siracusa, the farm is at an elevation of 100 metres above sea level, lying among the lowest hills of the white Ibleo plain, only 8 km from the beauty of the sea at Brucoli and with other seaside resorts even nearer. The farm covers an area of more than 100 hectares and a great variation of landscapes: lovely green citrus groves alternate with olive groves and arid Sicilian pastures; the deep valley carved by the San Calogero river hosts numerous archaeological remains from the “Castellucciana “ civilization (pre-Greek period) and a delightful woodland rich in Mediterranean flavour. Surrounded by greenery and citrus groves, the apartment is in rural Sicilian style and is located near the stables. The furnishing is period, while modern comforts is provided: the apartment has private bathroom, kitchen, television and heating.

The estate is located about 100 m above sea level,midway between Catania and Syracuse,among the foothills of the white Ibleo plain.It is only 8 km from the lovely sea at Brucoli,and even closer to other seaside resorts.The deep valley carved by the San Calogero river harbours numerous archaeological remains from the pre-Greek period.Not far from many archaeological sites:Syracuse offers many areas of considerable archaeological, environmental and naturalistic interest. First of all, the archaeological park of Syracuse,where you can admire the Greek Theatre, the Orecchio di Dionisio,the Ara of Ierone,while in the ancient city centre,the isle of Ortigia.And, also, the Vendicari oasis,a protected nature reserve;Pantalica,an interesting site for naturalistic and archaeological reasons.And also: Caltagirone,wich is famous for the production of pottery,particularly maiolica wares; Ragusa Ibla famous for its baroque architecture;Mount Etna a largest active volcano in Europe, and many others.
