About Versilia:
Versilia is a land full of history and tradition, its natural background is particularly interesting because it offers a huge variety of natural beauties to be admired and discovered, from the ancient stately Carrara's marble to the numerous botanic species displaced all along this area. Along the coast of the Versilia and South of the Serchio river there are sandy beaches extended over many kilometres, most of which offering good services. The most exclusive and mundane ones are at the well known beach city of Forte dei Marmi.Very typical the mix of beach beds, sun lounges and umbrellas you could rent at the serviced beaches. The Lucca people mostly frequent the beaches South of Versilia, i.e. the area between Viareggio and Pisa which enjoy a very family orientated 'ambient' and where are still free beaches as shown on our photo. In general terms beaches offer services from May until mid/end of September.
Golf:
Versilia Golf Resort, Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany. A few words that sum up a whole world. There is Tuscany, with its zest for life that has always enchanted those who have made travelling an art. There is Forte dei Marmi, a stone’s throw away, today more sparkling and exclusive than ever: it is a place redolent of the holidays of other times, children and nannies, villas, the beach that was once reached by a private path. And there is golf. The golf club that here, in this charming area suspended between the Apuan Alps and the Tyrrhenian Sea, has been transformed into a resort where every detail is the result of a special passion for hospitality. The sea is a short distance away; its scent is borne on a wind that makes for cloudless azure skies. And the green seems even greener. The resort was created around the golf course. It is a sophisticated place, welcoming as an elegant country house.
