''You heard it on the Grapevine'

We spent a glorious week in June at Grapevines- you can have a restful , peaceful holiday never straying too far from the villa to find a quiet beach and delicious cretan food and wine or you can wander into Makrygialos town centre for a wider choice of restaurants and bars, music and nightlife.
The house, swimming pool and grounds were spotless. All your needs were catered for. Rosemary and Nicos were fantastic- No enquiry or request was too much for them - always helpful , particularly arranging our taxi for us so that we stepped straight off the plane at Heraklion into the car.
Thank you for the welcome pack - it mean't that on the first morning there was no hurry to find a shop or cafe for breakfast food and drink.
We spent most of the time lounging on comfortable sun beds and thick luxiourous beach towels either by the pool or on the sun terrace. We made good use of the house library. We ventured to Pefki in the mountains via local taxi and to the monastery on the little road train.
But my favouite were morning strolls and swims in the warm clear sea on Diskari beach.........unforgettable
I have recomended this villa to all my family and friends fo a perfect get away.
