Lovely & Roomy

We enjoyed a truly lovely comfy stay in this apartment!! Warm, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The views from the lounge and balcony are stunning! All the lounge sofabeds are new and modern and very comfortable - as is the unusual kingsize bed. All bedding/towels are new. The kitchen is very well equipped and large enough to sit for breakfast, but we preferred to sit at the main dining table make the most of the lovely views. There are books (mainly English), some dvd's, games, tv, dvd, radio etc. The area is very quiet and an easy walk to the village and lakeside. Lovely restaurants in village. Impressed by the efficient and free bus to the higher skiing regions of Postalm and Dachstein West (Gosau - good connections via Strobl), it left from the bus stop at the bottom of the road, 2 mins walk (as does a regular service to Salzburg), but there is a cable car in the village to take skiers to the local (more gentle) slopes, perfect for less-confident skiers or beginners. The well-stocked supermarket is also within a 2 mins walk. Will definitely book this apartment again - would like to also stay in the summer, as it's very close to the lake. Highly recommended.
