Old stone cottage recently renovated, set in a quiet rural village perfect for a summer holiday. The cottage has three bedrooms with queen size beds, very comfortable for a family or friends. It comes fully equipped with towels and linen, one bathroom downstairs and a shower room and toilet upstairs, comfortable sofas, television, sound system, CDs and books. A wood burning stove if needed in the cooler months, giving a very cosy atmosphere. Just have to unpack your bags and make yourself at home! If you are arriving late we can arrange for the bare essentials in the cupboards to start you off.

Nearest Train: Montbard at 20 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: A6 at 11 Kilometres
Car: necessary
Viserny is located just a 5 min drive from the medieval town of Semur en Auxois, a 15 min drive from the auto route exit of Biere le Semur. Alternatively Montbard is 15 mins, a small town with a TGV that takes you right into the middle of London within 5 hours or Paris in under an hour. Our nearest city is Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, which is just under an hours drive from Viserny where you have the start of the famous 'Route Des Grands Crus'. You can drive through spectacular scenery and visit 'Clos de Vogeot', Aloxe Cortain, Meursault and Nuits St George to name but a few. Wind your way down the 'cote' tasting world famous wines and have lunch or dinner in one of the many brasseries. Nearer to home you have Alesia, battleground of the 'Last stand of the Gauls against the Romans, Fontenay Abbey, one of the Benidictine Abbeys and Flavigny, background of the film 'Chocolate'. We are on the edge of the Morvan National Park which has beautiful lakes for swimming.
