This luxury apartment, is located in a secure gated community within a quiet area of Playa Flamenca, just by La Florida. The apartments are 4 years old, and are set in beautifully landscaped gardens with a large swimming pool just outside your front door. There a numerous beaches in the area that have been awarded the blue flag. The local supermarket is 5 minutes walk, as is the superb Wicklow Abbey Tavern. The apartment itself is furnished to a very high standard, with all the comforts of home, and consists of 2 large bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms, kitchen, lounge and dining area, you can also enjoy the sun on the terrace whilst eating your breakfast or bask in the sun on the huge solarium. Playa Flamenca is in an ideal position to explore the Costa Blanca, with the nearest large town Torrevieja being 10 minutes away, where you can grab a bargain in the shops or walk along the 1 mile pier. Alicante is 40 minutes away and Benidorm is 90 minutes. and historic Murcia town 60 minute.

The apartment is ideally situated as its close to all your amenities. Shops 5 minutes walk, bars and restaurants 5 minutes walk away. the commercial centre is only 10 minutes walk away. The nearest beach is a 15 minute walk, but there is ample free parking at the seafront should you want to pack a picnic, and be there in 5 minutes! There is plenty to do for the kids in the area, with the best go-karting track 5 minutes drive away, there are a choice of two water parks the nearest being a 10 minute drive away, and next to the waterpark is the brand new shopping centre Habarneras should you want to spend the afternoon shopping !! There are lost of fantastic beaches just a minutes drive away, including Playa Flamena, La Zenia, Campoamor, Cala Capitan, and my favourite Mil Palmeras, which as its name suggests has a million palm trees! Further afield is Alicante, a great place for shopping or lunch with the millionaires at the harbour and admire the yachts.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of £50 is payable at the time of the booking and the full balance is due 8 weeks before the rental period.
  • A service charge will apply to all rentals and will be paid locally at the rate of 45 euro for the cleaning of the apartment plus 5 euro a person to cover linen and towels, this will be paid to Jan the key holder at the beginning of your stay.
  • A welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and bottled water is included in your rental price together with body wash, toilet rolls and all linen and towels. If you have have any special requests such as beer or wine in the fridge on arrival then these can be catered for and paid for on arrival.

  • Both bathrooms are finished to a very high standard, with ample storage space for all that sun cream, the water pressure is fantastic, which is just what you need after a day at the beach to wash all that sand off! All towels are supplied for your stay and body wash and toilet roll are provided

The Sofa in the lounge can transformed into a large double bed in seconds, it is designed so that there is no removal of cushions, and can be converted into sofa or bed in 10 seconds!! just what you need after a night on the tiles. The second bedroom is situated next to the main bathroom, and is away from the master bedroom, to give you that extra little privacy, if sharing with another couple. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning with a nighttime function to keep you cool during the hot months, or can be switched to heating in the cooler months. Both bedrooms have ample fitted wardrobe space, and drawers so you can enjoy all the comforts of home.

Notes: The apartment is situated adjacent to the communal pool and garden area, but if you want that bit of privacy, then you have your own private terrace to waste away the hours, or take the lift to the solarium to enjoy the sea views and get away from the others with a nice book while basking in the sun. All of the community and apartment is suitable for wheelchair users, and the kitchen window overlooks the pool area so you can keep an eye on your children whilst preparing lunch, however there are plenty of local restaurants in walking distance to suit all budgets should you decide to leave the apron at home !! There is ample parking in the community and you can easily get in and out with the electronic key fob, which will be given to you at the beginning of your stay. All beach towels are provided, just so you have that little extra room for your gifts or that odd bottle of sangria. Smoking is permitted on the terrace.

Benidorm: Just a short drive away (90 minutes) is the famous Benidorm, a must for a day trip!! there are two sides to Benidorm the old and the new! the old offering you typical Spanish tapas bars and twisty streets, whilst the new is very English driven with loads of bars and clubs, not to mention Sticky Vicky (the less said about her the better!!) Take a trip to Benidorm Island and take in the breath taking views of Benidorm! There is lots to do in the area, Aqualandia (waterpark) Mundo Mar (seaworld) Terra Natura (animal park) and the famous Terra Mitika for all those thrill ride seekers!! (the huge wooden one is the best!!) However no trip to Benidorm would be complete without a night at the Benidorm Palace, for 44 euro you will be treated to the best show out of the West End and food Gordon Ramsey would be delighted to eat !! if you are not driving there is a coach from Playa Flamenca to the show for about 50 euro (this includes the cost of the show and the meal)

Places of Interest: Near Benidorm there is a small village called Quadalest which is the most beautiful place on the Costa Blanca, a leisurely stroll from the amazing church will bring to the top of the village where you can view the beautiful blue lake, after have some lunch in the numerous bars and restaurants or buy some gifts on the street stalls. Then you must drive 5 minutes down the road to the Fonts de Algar where you can climb the most amazing waterfall or swim in the many natural pools, be warned though the water is freezing!!!!

Golfers: In the immediate area there are not one but three! international golf courses, Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, all within a 20 minute drive of the apartment.

Just returned from 2wks at Ian's apt and had a lovely relaxing break there! Its well equiped with everything you need, it was great to come back with a clean suit case of clothes!!! There are a handful of restaurants 5 minutes away, the beach is a bit far to walk so a car or taxi may be needed. Defo will recommend to friends and family, and hopefully be back next year for a week or two!! Thank you

Have just returned from 2weeks in this superb apt. Just like a home from home,clean and well presented.Ians welcome book has alot of information about the local area.Jan who meets and greets you is a lovely lady and if you need her she is only a call away. Lots of nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. Our favourites were-The Abbey,Mosquitos,Spud Murphys,Busters Bar(for a great Sunday Roast) and of course The Blarney Stone for a great pint of the black stuff! We would recommend a car for the beach,waterpark etc. Have already recommended this apt. to colleagues. Would love to return next year.

Just come back from a lovely week in Spain in this lovely apartment, It is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and it is like a home from home, with everything you could wish for, especially nice to have the dishwasher and really did not want to wash up on holiday.

Jan met us at the apartment and she is fantastic, she had put some stuff in the fridge that we had requested and was very helpful and lived just over the road, and was very happy to give reccomendations of places to eat etc.

I have stayed in a few apartments in Playa Flamenca but I think this is the nicest, and will be booking for the summer!
