A superb complex of high quality apartments with fantastic terraces and BBQ areas. The property has use of 4 swimming pools within condominium it is located just 400 mtrs from water front/Beach and village center with all its traditional bars and restaurants. The apartments are all different shapes and sizes from superb 3 bedroom duplex properties to quait 2 bedroom holiday lets. The duplexes and 3 bedroom ground floors have superb terraces some with excellent sea views and BBQ areas both dupelxes have roof terrace/solarium with fantastic sea and land views, there is also a seperate terrace located off the living area. The apartments all come with full air-conditioning/heating in all bedrooms and living area. The satelite TV supplys English TV channels including ITV/BBC there is also Portuguese and Spanish channels. Within the complex there is also a cafe/bar restaurant and shop. Excellent first floor 1 bedroom apartment with 9 sq meter outside terrace the apartment comes fully equipped including fully fitted kitchen, and air-conditioning. Located 400 meters from water front and beach and all local bars and restaurants it has the use of four swimming pools within the condominium. The apartment has a sofa bed and a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, The bathroom has shower cubicle.

Cabanas is a traditional Portuguese fishing village which over the last few years been transformed into a tourist resort while still retaining its Algarvean charm it offers tourists and travellers alike the best of both worlds. Located just 5km east from the picturesque town of Tavira and within the Natural reserve of the Ria Formosa Cabanas has within easy walking distance some excellent restaurants/bars and a fantastic fully serviced beach which is reached by a 2 minute boat/ferrry ride. The train service form Conceicao (1km) takes who East towards Vila Real and Spain in just 30 mins and West towards Tavira (10 mins) and Faro (the capital) 45 mins. Tavira Island beach (Ilha de Tavira) is widely regarded as one of the best in Portugal especially for its facilities including excellent restaurants and water sports. Water parks and the Zoo marine are located west of Faro and are reached by coach pick ups in Cabanas, there is horse riding/trekking located a 20 min dirve away.

My daughter and I have just returned from a lovely week-18-25th April- staying in apartment Ria Mar-part ot the Quinta Gomeria apartments in Cabanas on the Eastern Algarve.
The apartment exceeded our expectations,especially as was extremely reasonable at this time of year. It was as described-in a great location,very clean and contempary with every facility we needed.The pool areas were super-tho' no sunloungers available- and we loved the village and especially the beautiful beach reached by boat,almost on demand for around 1 euro return.
Although 'pre-season' meant no facilities available on the beach and village very quiet-for us it only enhanced a very relaxed and peaceful stay.
The little railway station at Concieciao-short walk just out of village-provided great,easy links for visits to places such as Tavira or Faro-even into the Spanish border.
We really appreciated Una's lovely,friendly and helful welcome-incl. tour of the village- to familiarise us on arrival.Thanks to her and also to Eddie for great,prompt communication and easy organisation and payment. Really hope to come again!!
