Further Details for the cottage:
The garden, 2000 m², surrounded by a high hedge, but which naturally has a view of and access to the very pretty village church, contains several fruit trees. Help yourselves (if you are here at the right season!) to cherries plums peaches and pears. It also boasts a real curiosity: a “charmille“ a sort of circular bower of dense hornbeam trees with an entrance facing away from the church. The village is tiny and peaceful, featuring a local restaurant which also sells fresh bread. A small general store is open long hours in the next village at 5 kilometres. The Local Boulangerie van calls each morning in the village to provide fresh bred and croissants. For other shopping, the town of Marcigny, or in the opposite direction, Digoin with its Leclerc hypermarket are each about 15 km away. The world famous 3 Michelin star restaurant 'Les Trois Gros' in Roanne is about 30 min drive. The 'La Poste' Restaurant in Poisson is warmly recommended as 'Les Trois pigeons' in Paray le Monial.
