This beautiful property is extremely well equipped to cater for larger families or those wanting to share. Renovated to a very high standard the spacious rooms provide an exceptional opportunity to enjoy a relaxing holiday surrounded by extensive grounds with fruit trees. The large kitchen is fitted with oak units, and has dual fuel hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge freezer. French doors lead to an outside eating area with barbecue. The utility room has automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, laundry sink and indoor clothes line. The upper two floors comprise two double ensuite bedrooms(one with full facilities) and two twin bedrooms. The property also has a further two separate shower rooms. Traditional beams enhance the large lounge which has a wood burning stove, satellite TV, video and DVD. Off the lounge there is a snug, perfect for reading or listening to music on the stereo. The spacious dining room has ample seating for 8. Extensive parking at end of gravel driveway

Savigny-le-Vieux is situated where Normandy, Brittany and the Loire Valley meet at the southern end of the Manche area. The rolling hills and chestnut trees provide a peaceful and picturesque location. La Manche is a corner of Normandy stretching from Cherbourg to Mont St Michel. There are many colourful markets and those at St Hilaire, Brecy and Avranches are lively and well supported by locals and visitors alike. On the west coast are found the sandy beaches of St Jean de Thomas, Carolles and Jullouville. The town of Granville boasts a busy port and harbour with daily trips to Jersey. Mont st Michel is a short drive away as are the oyster beds of Cancale and the walled town of St Malo. A full day excursion will take you to the D-Day Beaches and the town of Bayeux, famous for its tapestry and cathedral. The Medieval town of Fougeres, with its 13 towers and massive walled castle is within 20 kilometres. Local gastronomic delights include Calvados, Camembert and Normandy Ciders.

The fourth bedroom is accessed via a staircase in the dining room. It has traditional wooden beams and an en-suite bathroom. A child's travel cot is available if required.
