Following the coastal road for a short distance from Lindos there you will find the village of Gennadi. Active, vibrant, this village with its restaurants, bars, supermarket and bakery, has regular bus service that will take you from Gennadi to the famous windsurfing spot of Prassonisi at the southern tip of the island to the north and the cosmopolitan city of Rhodes and the Old Town. Less than 1km from the village centre is the award winning Blue Flag Beach of Gennadi which boasts a vast coast line of some of the cleanest water of the Aegean. This is truly a magnificent yet peaceful haven with waterfront tavernas providing the settings for leisurely lunches and star lit dinners. My 3 Bed-roomed Home sits mid way between sea and village with stunning views of both sea and mountains. Both Villa Gemma and Villa Rosila are built to the very highest standard. Beautifully designed, well planned and positioned in 1000 sq metres of private landscaped lush garden. The private pools are bordered with a safe area ,an outdoor shower at hand to save a trip to the villa. The Groves surrounding both the pools and property giving a privacy rarely found. These 2 villas are in a quiet location with only 2 other Villas flanking each side. No complex. Come and join us on this beautiful island if only for a week or two.

Guests Comments: ' 8 of us stayed at Villa Gemma for a week in July and we couldn't fault our holiday. The villa was in superb condition and Chris was a fantastic host - breakfast was in the fridge on the night of our arrival, and the week was full of thoughtful little things like that that really make the holiday special. The pool was gorgeous, the beach was close by and the little village within walking distance had great shops including a brilliant little bakery. I would absolutely recommend a holiday here, it'll be a great time Dave Noorlander Still enjoying all the good memories. We had a family holiday for 6 adults in September 2009 for a fortnight. The weather was perfect with no daytime rainfall at all. The accomodation is excellent. It is extremely well equipped, clean and nicely furnished with a spotless private swimming pool. The owner, Christine, was extremely helpful and took an obvious pride in the property. The location is on the edge of a traditional Greek village with nice tavernas, restaurants, a bakery and supermarket. The long quiet sand and shingle beach is just 5 minutes walk away. This too has nice tavernas.
A regular bus service runs to Rhodes Town along the east coast through Lindos but to see the south of the island, car hire is essential. The whole holiday was a wonderful experience.

A very nice summer

After booking our own holidays I would love to say that this year holiday became one of our favourites. The appartment was great. _We were 7 people and we had everything we needed. Short way to the beach, allthough it is no sand but small stones the water was very beatiful. And very clear. The center of the city is just around the corner where you get everything you need, as fresh baked bread, a supermarket and bars and restaurants. To travel around the island you can use busses which go freqently. But we recommend to hire a car. All together this appartment is highly recommended and suits everybody. We would love to come back.

A wonderful villa in Gennadi

The villa was in splendid condition: it is new, beautiful, well furnished and with efficient services. The external spaces are nice and the pool wonderful, clean and well kept, the owner kind and helpful, the supermarket and the bakery are well equipped and within walking distance.
In this villa you can spend pleasant and relaxing vacations, or easy access to most tourist destinations like Lindos and Prassonissi. I do sincerely recommend a holiday here.
One little note: the extra cost for air conditioning should be publicized in advance.

I cannot recommend the lovely Villa Rosila highly enough. The owner, Christine was there to give us a lovely warm welcome and to show us around and could not have been nicer or more helpful. The villa was immaculate, stylish and really comfortable. It was really well equipped and felt like a home from home. The kitchen was spotless and everything was new and worked perfectly. It was also cool with air con in all of the rooms. The pool was perfect and was kept beautifully. There is a lovely outdoor space with loungers and barbecue. Christine was brilliant and aking sure we had anything that we wanted, including cars wherever we wanted to go and beauty treatments by the pool. Perfect! The little town was lovely with several really charming places to eat. The beach was pebbly and had a few tavernas and watersports. It also has a very good bus service for getting to some of the prettier sandy beaches. I would really recommend this holiday. I was travelling with four teenagers and they loved every minute.
