This is a very high standard FOUR bedroom/THREE bathroom town house set right on the water's edge in Sovereign Harbour South about 2/3 miles from the sunny seaside Victorian resort of Eastbourne.The house will sleep 6/8 people. Attached to this house is another similar four bedroom house sleeping up to six people. Therefore the two houses taken together would accommodate a party of up to 14 people. Three day breaks are very popular and these are charged at 75% of the weekly rental. Plenty of car parking available. The balcony from the first floor sitting room offers stunning views of the harbour. These same views can be enjoyed from the private secure waterside courtyard which has a table and chairs for alfresco dining. An important feature of this house is the newly converted fourth bedroom, which is almost a mini suite in itself - Super King size double bed, DVD, settee, en suite shower room, kettle, fridge, double doors opening onto courtyard with stunning harbour views.

The Victorian seaside resort town of Eastbourne is well known for the abundant hours of Sunshine - amongst the highest in England. There are many theatres, restaurants, beaches and an excellent shopping mall. The Victorian bandstand is very popular and every evening during the Summer months live music is played. Wednesday evening is Classical night which always ends with the 1812 Overture complete with fireworks! In the main the town is sheltered from the prevailing winds by the South Downs and Beachy Head and so it provides a very good base for a family holiday - ideal as a Self Catering Holiday Rental or for short stay accommodation. Within a short drive you have Pevensey with its castle and beaches, Bexhill and Hastings for really nice fresh fish and chips! Further inland there is a good choice of gardens, stately homes and castles to visit. Close by in the Harbour area itself there is a 24hr supermarket as well as the Waterfront with specialist shops and restaurants.

Additional information about rental rates

  • All the above rental rates are inclusive of electricity and gas costs plus the supply of linen and towels. They allow for up to 6 people to occupy the house. A further two people can be accommodated by using the bed settee in the sitting room and use of this will cost an extra 75 pounds per person per week. We are required to hold a 250 pounds returnable damage/cleaning deposit. For bookings of two weeks or more there will be a change of linen and towels.

    It is possible that a discount off the above prices may be given for two people only. Please enquire by calling or emailing our office.

    Three and Four day breaks are very popular and these are charged at 75% and 85% of the weekly rate. However for a limited time only we are offering four day breaks for the price of three days - i.e. 75% of the weekly rate.

  • This house will sleep 6 people in comfort - however an extra two people can be accommodated at extra cost by using the bed settee in the sitting room. Bedroom one is the master bedroom and is, in fact, accessed from the dining room by going down some steps outside to the courtyard terrace. It is spacious with stunning harbour views from the Super King Size double bed and it has full en-suite shower room facilities plus a settee, coffee table, DVD, fridge and kettle. Up stairs the main en-suite bedroom has a King Size double bed. There are three bathrooms/shower rooms in the house plus a ground floor cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin.

The ancient and historic County town of Lewes is about a 30 minute drive from Eastbourne. In about 20 minutes drive you can get to the ferry port of Newhaven with regular sailings to Dieppe in France.

The house lived up to all expectations and more!
The terraced area outside is a sun trap to enjoy meals and drinks and in fact the patio furniture has been updated since the photos have been taken.
The house was in immaculate condition, well equipped and catered well for our family of 6. The house is a town house style - so be prepared to walk up and down lots of stairs!
The house is within easy walking distance of Sovereign Harbour's shops and restaurants and ideally based to explore Eastbourne, which is only a short drive away.
We had a very enjoyable stay.
