Lovely villa near Belek town

We booked the villa for one week from 13th August 2009, having pre-booked a hire car we were met at Antalya airport on our arrival. We drove to Belek which took about 20 minutes, we looked for the villa from the address on our booking form, to our surprise none of the locals, supermarkets or taxi drivers seemed to know where the villas were located? Eventually after nearly 3 hours of driving around we found it having seen a photo of the villa on advertisement board on the main Alan Caddesi (road), the villas were set back away from the road which was very difficult to see at night, we followed a long drive way to reach the villa and was met by two of the caretakers who gave us access, by this time it was 00.45am. A map would have been very uselful included with the booking form. The villa lacked a guide of helpful information e.g. local supermarkets, shopping centres, restaurants, activities, medical emergency numbers etc. also a toaster! However, the villa was lovely, modern, clean and well maintained it offered all the facilities mentioned, we throughly enjoyed our week, the weather was very, very hot so the pool was very useful, our daughter loved it! There are two restaurants we would recommend, a British restaurant turning right from the villa within walking distance and the Sun Set restaurant in Belek town. We would like to thank the Site Manager, Andrey for everything, he was always on call if there were any problems and thanks to his staff for making sure the villa was up to expectation, we would certainly recommend this property.
