Albanella is located between the Amalfi Coast in the north and Italy’s second largest national park “il Parco Nazionale del Cilento e Vallo di Diano” in the South. It is 15 minutes land-inwards from the town of Paestum, with its majestic Doric temples, located by the long white-sand coastal strip, brushed by sparkling sea of the Golf of Salerno. The romantic tiny village, is close to all the above mentioned and many other (e.g. Agropoli, Pompeii, Velia, Certosa di San Lorenzo di Padula etc). points of interests and tourist attractions. However, its rural character shields you from the mass tourist centres and allows you to experience a true immersion into Southern Italian hospitality and charm. During the hot summer months the very light breeze that characterises the hills of and around Albanella protects you from the excessive heat and stickiness you would encounter down at the beach or in the valleys.
