This spacious villa is furnished in contemporary style with full amenities including satellite TV, 1 double-bedroom and 2 twins, with room for more to sleep, large pool and over a thousand sq metres of private enclosed garden, it is the idyllic Mediterranean home from home. Ideal for young families, with loads to see and do locally or further afield, from mountain biking and hiking to chilling out by the private pool. The house comes fully furnished including towels, bedding & all mod cons including a very decent loan library of the latest DVD movies & books! (WiFi made avail on request). Vallespir, a district of Northern Catalonia, is in the French department of Pyrenees-Orientales, is a land of immense and unspoilt natural beauty as well as being the guardian of a rich culture and history. The Musee d'art Moderne, in nearby, Ceret, houses a permanent collection of Picasso, one of many famous artists to spend some quality time here! The 18 hole Domaine de Falgos golf course is located right on the border to Spain, with spectacular views over both the mountains and the glorious Bay of Roses in Spain. Due to its magnificent landscape, Vallespir is of course a magnet for walking holidays. The house is only 45 minutes drive from Perpignan and the Mediterranean coastline, 20 minutes from the Spanish border, yet less than 2 hours from the cosmopolitan buzz of either Barcelona or Montpellier.
