Villa Fontaine is a very modern, bright villa set in a large garden with stunning mountain views. It is very child friendly with a shallow pool and plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. The villa has 4 large air-conditioned bedrooms all overlooking the garden and pool and with stunning mountain views. There is a beautiful 5,000sq.m garden. Large 300sq.m flat lawn is perfect for the kids. A football goal is available, along with a badminton set and a driving net. Beyond the lawn is a fruit orchard and beyond that, a private forest for the kids to explore.

Villa Fontaine is located in the quiet Provencal village of Roquefort Les Pins which is only 10 minutes from the medieval village of Valbonne and 20 minutes from Nice International Airport. There is a local supermarket, bakeries, banks, fruit and vegetable shops, excellent pizza places, beauty salon, hairdressers etc . In addition there are a number of close by restaurants. There are plenty of activities for young and old in the area. There is a weekly market in the village on Wednesdays, one in Valbonne on Fridays, plenty of Galleries to visit in both Mougins and St Paul de Vence (both 20 mins drive), an adventure playground for children & adults 5 minutes down the road, endless scenic drives to explore in all directions, and only 15 minutes to the beach.

  • All four bedrooms are air-conditioned, have fitted wardrobes and stunning views overlooking the pool, garden and distant mountains. On the first floor, the master bedroom has a kingsize bed (160x200cm), a dressing room and an ensuite bathroom with a rainhead shower, two basins, a 190x90xm bath and a WC. The two children's bedrooms, also on the first floor, each have two single beds (90x190cm). One of the rooms has 'zip & linK' beds which can be locked together to make a superkng bed (180x190). These two bedrooms share a bathroom which has a shower, two basins, a 80x180cm bath and a WC. On the ground floor there is a fourth bedroom which has a kingsize bed (160x200cm). It has an ensuite bathroom which has a shower, basin and WC.

Local Activities: There are plenty of activities for young and old in the area. There is a weekly market in Roquefort Les Pins on Wednesdays, one in Valbonne on Fridays, and plenty of galleries to visit in both Mougins and St Paul de Vence (both 20 mins drive). 5 minutes down the road is a labyrinth and adventure playground for small children and an adventure course and canyoning for children 8 years and older to adults. In Pont Du Loup, which is a 15 minute drive, there is a traditional French sweet factory where you can take a tour and do some tasting, then walk up the river which runs alongside. There are also endless scenic drives to explore in all directions which lead to mountain villages, lakes and beaches.

Coast / Beach: The coast is a 15 minutes drive. The closest beaches are at Cagnes Sur Mer and Villeneuve Loubet. A 20 minute drive will take you to the famous Promenade des Anglais in Nice. The closest sandy beaches are either Antibes, Cannes or Theoule Sur Mer where you can either use the public beaches or pay to use the private beaches.
