Casa Camugnano is a working farm and dates back to the 9th century. It has been lovingly restored with an eye to history and a hand to modern amenities by Laura Braconi and her family. The villa's idyllic setting and ample garden with pool are ideal for a relaxing holiday. The house features a courtyard. Under the traditional arcades one can BBQ or make pizza in the traditional oven. Tables and seating invite guests to dine al fresco be it spring, summer or autumn. You can can sample and buy the farms olive oil and wine as well as some local produce on the premises. The apartment is located on the first floor of the main house, overlooking the courtyard. The entrance gives way to a large living room with fireplace and the fully fitted kitchen separated from the living area by an arch. There are two spacious bedrooms with individual bathrooms.

The nearby thermal spas in Rapolano Terme offer hot springs ( 38C sulphuric-calcium waters) and a variety of treatments to unwind and re-invigorate the holidaymaker. The Braconi family can arrange for discounts at the thermal spa. For the more energetic guests interested in history and art, the towns of Siena, Arezzo, Cortona and Florence with their cultural riches are within easy reach. For culinary and wine connoisseurs the Chianti and Brunello wine growing areas are nearby. There are restaurants in abundance in the immediate area and the beautiful Crete Senesi, home to the famed Pecorino cheese lends itself to walks or picnics.

  • The apartment can be rented at a reduced rate with 1 bedroom only::
    Low season (january- february- march- April- November- December): 400.-- Euros weekly ( Euros 70.-- p. night),
    Middle season: 400.-- Euros weekly ( Euros 70.-- p. night),
    High season: Euro 500.-- weekly ( Euro 80.-- p.night).
    3rd bed available for both bedrooms at a nightly cost of:
    Low season: Euro 35,
    High season: Euro 40.
  • Included in the rent: a small welcome basket, mobile phone prepaid and ready to use up to 10 Euros, all energy charges, bed and bath linens, with a change provided every 3-4 days & final cleaning
    A deposit of 25% is required upon booking and final payment 21 days before arrival. Payments will not be refunded in case of cancellation less than 15 days prior to arrival. A security deposit of Euro 200.-- is requested with final payment and will be refunded within 15 days of departure after deduction of any extra charges or breakages.
