A visitor centre is situated 4 mins walk from the apartment, the staff are very helpful and will answer any questions you may have. It also houses a cafeteria and ice-cream shop. There are excellent restaurants nearby, details can be found in the folder in the apartment. Pembrey Country Park (20 minutes drive) has a dry ski slope, toboggan run, mini railway, nature trails, cycling and horse riding. Next door is the Welsh Motor Sports Centre . Trostre Parc Shopping Centre is just 8 mins drive away, it has a 24 hour Tesco, M&S, Debenhams, BHS, Next, Clarks, Laura Ashley, Quick Siver, TKMaxx, Accessorize, Outlet, HMV, JJB Sports, B&Q, WH Smith. There are more shops on the other side of the road in Pemberton Park. There are also McDonalds, Pizza Hut and other eateries. Parc y Scarlets, the new stadium for the Scarlets rugby team has just opened next door.
