Beautiful holiday rental home situated down a quiet pretty tree lined road in Barnes , South West London. Recently been decorated with wooden flooring downstairs and new bathrooms throughout. This family home sleeps 8 with the possibility of an extra bed in the office/single room. On the ground floor there is a sitting room with dining room and a very large kitchen with breakfast conservatory overlooking the quiet secluded garden. Also a downstairs shower room with WC On the first floor there are 2 Double rooms with kingsize beds and their own bathrooms. On the second floor there is a single room and a twin room with bathroom. The house is situated a minutes walk from the Common where there are tennis courts and a playground. Barnes centre is a short stroll where you can find chic boutiques, cafes, restaurants and antique shops. CENTRAL LONDON 15 MINUTES / OVERLAND TRAIN TO WATERLOO AND ALSO MANY BUSES 4 KILOMETRES CHELSEA / KENSINGTON BY BUS OR TUBE HEATHROW 25 MINUTE

This house was perfect for the 8 of my work buddies that stayed for a couple of days. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The house is very nice and is in a great location. It is in a very nice neighborhood. There are pubs and shops right down the road, and the transportaion into London is fast and easy. Overall, we were very happy with the house and the time we spent there.

Ideal for family visit to London

The house is situated in a very nice part of London. the rooms are clean and very comfortable. As is the rest of the house. The kitchen, bathrooms and livingroom are very spacious and well equipped.
To get to the city of london you need to take a short busride and then you can choose from three different subway trains. These will take you everywhere.
Barnes itself has some nice restaurants to visit.
Ideal for a family visit to enjoy the city of London during the day and to relax with the family in the house in Barnes.

We visited London with our two children and their four grandparents. They all enjoyed the house, and its surroundings. The service provided by Marie Wilson was excellent and very friendly.

This house is a Tardis

My wife told me that everyone in England will get the Tardis reference. It seems bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. VERY nice house with a comfy living room, dining area and a HUGE kitchen on the first floor. There are several bedrooms that more than accommodated our family of four. The house is easy walking distance from a nice big park (good for kids) and a grocery store that has just about anything you might want.

The only real drawback are that the house is not within walking distance of the Tube, so you'll have to take a short walk to a bus stop and then ride the bus about 10 minutes to Hammersmith Tube station. That can eat into your sightseeing time (and may not be great for folks with very little kids -- ours are 7 and 5, and they did fine), but it's not a terribly big deal. We also couldn't get the stove to work, and there was no detergent for the washing machine or dishwasher, but, again, no big deal there.

It's also pretty close to Heathrow airport. The local car service cost us only 24 pounds to get to the airport when we went home, and Di was nice enough to arrange that for us.
