This independent apartment is part of a large Provencal villa in a quiet cul-de-sac. It has a dominant view over the waters of the Gulf of St Tropez and out across the hills. It offers a beautifully furnished lounge and double bedroom with shower and toilet, both having views over the sea. Both rooms lead onto a large private south facing poolside terrace with sunbeds and dining facilities. There is a second internal large double bedroom which is cool and airy. The palm shaded balustraded pool has astounding views down the valley and out to sea. The sunny 36 sq mt terrace is surrounded by Orleander and Bougainvillea with a breakfast terrace from the bedroom. The villa is 1.5 km from the sea and the seaside village of St Peire with its port and direct ferry service to St Tropez and Cannes.

The property is situated just off of the D8/D7 road, just 20 minutes from the main A8 motorway. It is situated between the towns of St Raphael and Ste Maxime. From here, it is an easy journey along the coast to St Tropez, which can be seen from the apartment. Ferry services from both our local port of Les Issambres or the busy port of Ste Maxime just 5 kms away give access to St Tropez and other ports along the Cote D'Azur. To the east of us is Cannes, Antibes, Nice and Monaco/Monte Carlo, all an easy day out. We are well served by beaches and beach clubs directly at the base of our road, and with easy parking. The port of Les Issambres is well catered with restaurants, bars, diving and skijet outlets, diving and boat rentals. Provence abounds with vineyards with so many around us, including the big names on the St Tropez peninsula. Hill walking and cycling in the Massif de Maures is on our doorstep.

Notes: The villa is situated on a hillside. This makes it unsuitable for people with mobility difficulties. Hillside apartment in Les Issambres

We are a retired couple and spent two weeks here at the end of September. The location has marvellous views over the bay, and the apartment is spotless and very well furnished, with everything provided that you could think of. Richard and Geraldine could not have been more helpful and friendly. We had sun nearly every day. We have stayed in several places in the Roquebrune / Les Issambres area and know it well. St Tropez, Nice and the other big resorts are all quite near, as are the small villages inland. A car is essential.

A lovely week in Les Issambres

I went with my husband and 2 children (13, 16) for a week in August and this apartment was a delightful hill-top retreat from the very busy surrounding towns.

It was clean and well-maintained, the bedrooms very spacious. The pool is beautiful and we happily spent hours in there.

Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Stayed for one week in May 2006. Three adults in our party.
The accommodation was good and has ample space for four adults.inside. The adjacent terrace provides a fine al'fresco area.
The pool is wonderfully located and kept in immaculate order, enhancing the Cote d'Azur ambiance and as well as a recreation facility.
The location is quite stunning. Panoramic views of the Med; amid tropical plants, in the immediate garden and surrounding location.
All this together with perfect host's, always willing to go the 'extra mile' for your comfort, make for a quite wonderful holiday.
