Alcossebre is situated in the picturesque region of 'Costa Del Azahar' and is often referred to as the jewel of the Spanish Mediterranean resorts. It is a small oasis between the mountains and the sea, right in the heart of the orange blossom coast, and thanks to its temperate and balanced climate you can enjoy it all year round. Alcossebre is a real Spanish village, surrounded by orange groves with the mountains on one side, sea on the other and within the national park area of Sierra D'Irta Mountains. Alcossebre boasts 5 beautiful blue flag beaches, the best of which is within walking distance. The town centre with it wide choice of shops, restaurants, promenade and busy marina is just 5 minutes away.Places to visit include Morella, a medieval walled town and Peniscola with its old town and famous castle, water park and go karting at Benicassim, and the caves a Val D'Uixo.

Notes: For out of season holidays we have air-conditioning that provides heating. We have tried to include in the villa everything you need for a comfortable and relaxed holiday. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need including microwave, full oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dish washer iron and ironing board, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and of course all the pots, pans, cutlery etc you will need. Each bedroom has its own hairdryer. All terraces have full patio sets so you can follow the sun around all day (and evening) long. In the lounge is a very comfortable sofa bed and two reclining chairs with Satellite TV Spanish and english, DVD player with a good selection of films and CD player.

Getting here: You can travel by train from Barcelona or Valencia to Benicarlo; arrangements can be made to pick you up from the station, approximately 20 minute drive, or there are plenty of taxis. By Air Valencia Airport 1 Hour Drive, Reus airport 1 Hour Drive, Barcelona Airport 2 Hours Drive and soon to be opened Castellon Airport 20 minutes By Car Bilbao (P & O) 6 Hours Drive, Santander (Brittany Ferries) 7 Hours, Drive Calais 15 Hours Drive

Food and eating out: Local shops provide an ample selection of quality produce with super and hypermarkets at nearby Benicarlo, Vinaros and Castellon approximately 20 and 30 minutes drive respectively. There is plenty of local restaurants, cafe and Tapas bars, providing a wide range of good quality food to suit all tastes. The famous Valencian paella is prepared in many local restaurants with locally grown rice. Zarzuela, a delicious fish dish is native to the region. For meat lovers lamb from the inland Maestrat region is a specialty in many restaurants. The wines here in Spain are wonderful, relatively unknown in Britain, and very inexpensive.

What to do: We have mini golf, horse riding, go karts, 10 pin bowling, bowls, diving, fishing, golf, swimming are all available within our area. A water park approx 20min away. And for those who enjoy a flutter we have the new casino at Castellon.
