A luxurious, contemporary self-catered chalet, sleeps 10 people in either 5 double beds or 10 single beds layout with 4 bathrooms. The views are spectacular and can be appreciated from the privacy of the balcony. Open log fire and seating for 10 people comfortably, likewise dining area with chairs for 10 people. Chalet Dahu is just a short walk to the centre of Les Houches, a picturesque mountain village in the Chamonix Valley. There is a 400metre ski slope with chair lift just a few metres from the chalet, with a natural ice rink at the bottom (open when cold enough). Across from this piste is the start of the main village centre with supermarket, bakers, restaurants, bars and ski hire. The main lifts in Les Houches are a short ride away (3 minutes by car). The buses run regularly throughout the day or if you drive a free car park is next to them. For other resorts including Chamonix, buses also take you there all within 15 minutes ride.

    Your booking is confirmed with payment of 30% first installment to be completed within 7 days of reservation.
    Your final payment of 70% payable no later than 8 weeks PRIOR to arrival.
    In the case of a late booking payment must be made in FULL at the time of the booking.
    You must also pay a cautionary damage deposit before arrival, we will confirm details with you.
  • Payment in euros possible ( request price in euros ).

    A refundable cautionary deposit is required. You may do this by making a deferred credit card payment upon arrival. Alternatively you may pay by cheque or bank transfer with your final instalment. The amount is calculated at £100 per bed in this property.     On arrival you can choose from a 'luxury' hamper to a 'bare essentials'. If you arrive late and want milk, bread etc on hand, again we can ensure this is in place when you arrive.

Skiing: Skiing in Chamonix Skiing Information: Chamonix provides skiing for all abilities with nursery slopes at Les Planards and Les Chosalets, however it is ideal for the intermediate and advanced skier. The intermediate runs will provide excellent groomed pistes, trails and mogul fields. For the expert skier there is limitless off piste skiing and some of the steepest and most challenging runs in the Alps including the awe-inspiring run down the Vallee Blanche with mountain guide.

Golf: Golf Information: The golf course in the Chamonix valley has a high standard with excellent facilities. It is situated next to the village of Les Praz. It was built in 1934, originally with 4 holes, it was officially opened on the 20 July 1935 with 9 holes completed. It was only in 1972 the council decided on a further 9 holes. So 10 years later, on the 26 September 1982 it was relaunched with 18 holes. A technical course designed by the prestigious architect Robert Trent Jones Senior, who knew how to make the most of the environment. The course is notable for the its numerous obstacles and raised greens. There is a driving range of 29 bays of which 14 are covered, 2 training greens and 2 bunkers.
