A perfect holiday rental in the romantic seaside town of Marina di Minturno, located in the vicinity of the famous Riviera of Ulysses; a breathtaking experience with view of the sea and the Gulf of Gaeta. The apartments are adjacent to Monte d'Argento; only one flight up with seafront terrace and private auto park. Just a few yards away, there's a choice of public or private beaches (the latter operate from May thru October). Sand is fine and light-colored. The 'boardwalk' is a pedestrian or joggers paradise as it extends along a beachfront that runs well over a 5 km. span, leading directly to the Regional Park of Monte di Scauri with a stunning view from the ancient towers of Torre di Scauri, overlooking the port. The amphitheatre and the ruins of ancient Minturnae is a 'must to see' and so is the museum. A British war cemetery is adjacent to the ancient ruins. Restaurants and pizzerias are abundant and economically priced. Fresh“mozzarella' is to die for.

The IVY TERRACE unit is located on the first floor and is composed of a large bedroom, a lounge area with a single sofa bed (second bed pulls out from underneath), a bathroom with shower and a fully-equipped kitchen. The outdoor terrace is a spacious 25 square meter living area; it is equipped with a convenient retractable awning and a large outdoor dining table. One of the nicest features is a spectacular view of the Gulf of Gaeta and the beaches located just across the street. The sunset is a spectacular sight to see.

Marina di Minturno (Monte d'Argento, Riviera of Ulysses, Regional Park of Gianola and Monte di Scauri, Aurunci Mountains), a romantic coastline village, part of MINTURNO, inserted in a significant and important historical and archeological area. Positioned directly opposite the Gulf of Gaeta; conveniently located near Rome and Naples; comfortable, compact, modern, the apartments offer a spectacular view of the sea and the peaks of the Aurunci Mountains. They are right next to Monte d’Argento and face the Suburban Regional Park of Gianola and Monte di Scauri, a protected area which enjoys WWF “Oasi Blu” Ecoregional status; it is part of the geological environment of the Riviera of Ulysses.The Roman amphitheatre and ancient ruins of the Roman aristocratic families is a must to see. Montecassino and the Abbey is only 18 miles away. Naples can be reached by train in less than 45 minutes. The thermal baths of Terme di Suio are only 10 miles away. Many places to see, not enough to list.

The spacious outdoor terrace and garden (25 sq.meters) is an inviting feature. The view of the sea and the mountain surroundings is magnificent. You can literally live outdoor from dawn to dusk as the area is conveniently covered/uncovered with a retractable awning that allows you to dine around a large rectangular dining table that can sit as many as eight guests, or simply relax and sun-bathe on the garden chairs. The surrounding greenery and bushes also offer a private ambience.

Friendly and relaxed holiday home

The apartment is set in a wonderfully quiet and relaxed area of Italy, within easy reach of Rome. We travelled by train and had no problem getting to the apartment.

The hosts are very friendly, they live next door so any questions and problems can be dealt with really quickly. They are on hand to offer advice about day trips and will go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one.

The beach is well kept and clean with very reasonably priced beach beds etc. The area might be a bit quiet out of high season, however we were there in early June and found it just right.

The flat is spacious and clean with nice outdoor space. Very well equiped with kitchen items, towels etc No complaints from us!
