Stunning house in a beautiful location. Close to Inverness city but set in peaceful countryside. Good quality furnishings throughout the house. Big garden with outdoor seating.The house is bordered by forestry walks and cycle paths with south facing open views. The isle of Skye and the remote beaches of the west coast are a great day out and Loch Ness is just 25min away. Aviemore ski resort is 30min from the house and Landmark activity centre even closer. Golf courses are easily accessed and the river Findhorn and Nairn are close by. 5 minutes away you can try clay pigeon shooting archery and quad biking for kids at the Bogbain activity centre and farm shop. Inverness city centre is only 10 minutes away. After a hard day shopping or touring come back to the well equipped house and relax in the beautiful Scottish countryside. A welcome pack of tea, coffee milk bread etc. will be included. All towels and bedding are included you just need some food. Broadband is included.

Private but only a short drive to Inverness and the airport. A great base for cycling and walking. Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye are easy to get to. The aviemore ski centre and other adventure activities can all be accessed nearby. Wildlife is easy to spot from the windows and peaceful scenery where author Alistair Maclean once lived here.

Quite simply - PERFECT

We stayed at Larchfield in July 2009 and couldn't have asked for more. The kitchen was well stocked with all those essentials you need but forget. The house was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The beds were by far the comfiest we have slept in with plenty of pillows and fresh bedding. Towels are provided too.

As soon as we arrived, we felt relaxed and at home.

The location is great. The Tesco in Inverness is only a 10 minute drive north whilst a 10 minute drive west takes you into some beautiful scenery. We all thoroughly enjoyed the Landmark Centre (15 minute drive south), dolphin spotting in the Firth, the beaches at Rosemarkie and Nairn, mountain biking near Rothiemurcus and the Daviot Woods, walking from the house into the woods behind and so much more. All of it within easy reach. The boys (8 & 6 yrs) had plenty of space to play outside and really enjoyed all the books and games provided.

Allan was very helpful and even managed to find another bicycle for our eldest son to ride. Little things like a hosepipe in the garage to hose down the car, bike tools and the use of a bike carrier make a difference.

We would 100% recommend Larchfield as a place to stay and can't wait to go back.

Larchfield is very well located and very well equipped for touring the Highlands. Speyside distilleries are within easy reach, as is Aviemore and Loch Ness. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped.
We couldn't wish for anything more than this.
