    Late/early arrivals cannot be charged at a lower rate as this makes day unavailable for other bookings
    30% deposit (non-refundable) required on booking and balance due 6 wk prior to arrival
    A cash security deposit is required on arrival which will be returned on departure
    For Festival, Christmas and New Year a 50% deposit (non-refundable) is required to secure the booking.
    Cancellation policy - for Christmas and New Year, should you need to cancel after the outstanding balance has already been paid, we will endeavour to fill the booking and refund final payment in full otherwise the final balance will be retained.
    Rest of the year, the final balance will be returned in full if it is up to 4 wks prior to arrival otherwise the full amount will be retained. Please make sure that you have a cancellation clause in your travel insurance.
  • All linen, electricity /gas and final cleaning cost are included in the price.

This is a ground-level, main door entry, cottage-style property which is particularly suited to those who are not so keen on climbing stairs!

The lovely cottage on the stream

Lovely little cottage, we happen to be the first guests that stayed here since the remodel. Kate the owner extended a truely gracious welcome based on us having a very late arrival with food in the fridge and cubburds. There were some minor things pointed out based on the renovation that was an inconvenience and Kate assured us these issues would be taken care of before the next guests and she knocked off a large amount based on our late arrival. Parking is somewhat an issue but easily mitigated once you understand where to park and the times the parking meters are inforced. The cottage is down a private road next to a beautiful small stream with a bridge, a very inviting walking/jogging trail just outside the cottage. Overall we were extremely happy of the clean and well kept accomadations and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, it may have been a little tight on space but the layout well accomadated the 5 of us. Walking distance to many places to eat and shopping nearby for the groceries. Thanks Kate we'll be back!!

Fantastic place to stay.

The location of the house is ideal, quiet little alley in the middle of the green while being very close to the center (George street). Kate has done a wonderful job in this house, the all atmosphere makes you feel comfortable straight when you arrive. Nothing is missing, all you need is there. We had a great time, having breakfast in the garden (the sun was there and can be quite strong) and visiting the city. I highly recommend to rent this house for a weekend or more, it was perfect.
