Luxurious, new, self catering large villa, in Colares, Mucifal, secluded area, only 8min away from closest beach and 2 min away from shops and all facilities. Gardens feature 2 swimming pools, one covered and heated, near the childrens playground, games room and BBQ, creating a very pleasant back garden, the other has a security system and heated with solar energy-excellent for sunbathing and outdoor eating and entertaining. The living space is modern - the ground floor has sitting / dinning room (fireplace, double sleeping sofa) opening to the pool area, large fully equipped kitchen, independent laundry room, social WC, 1double bedroom en suite with bath / hydromassage +1more double bedroom + 1 twin bedroom + shower room/ hydromassage. On 1st floor, 3 more bedrooms, all twins, one of them with 4 beds + 1shower room/ hydromassage. The villa comfortably sleeps 12/16 and has music system and underfloor heating throughout

Fantastic holidays

We have had a wonderful time in Portugal at casa dos Bambus. The house itself is fantastic, I do not know how it could be better. It has all the facilities: Music in all rooms (our kids loved it as they could listen different music in different room). The Kitchen was great and very big, fully equipped and it was a pleasure to cook and do Barbecues. House is cleaned twice a week. We had very tense competition of tennis table as well as volley ball in the covered pool. We were 16 and never felt crowded. Weather in august was great (no too hot overnight), and we all came back with a great tan.
Special comment for Marilia that has helped us so much. She has been really really good for us.

Casa Dos Bambus, was truely a stunning villa with all the comforts you could ever need. from the sound system to the pools, it kept us all happy,the villa was spottlessly clean and the cleaners called mid week to clean and they were very nice and do a great job. the pictures on the website dont do it justice. There were 11 adults and 1 infant and we did not want to leave, MARILLIA is also a very big asset to the villa nothing and i mean nothing is too much trouble for her very very helpfull, would recomend a car and sun tan lotion, Once again marillia many thanks from us all here in not so sunny south wales.

11 boys and girls for a week of fun in the sun!

I didn't think the property would be better than the photos but it was ! its an amazing villa with everything you could ever want or need. It was extremely clean and well maintained with a mid week clean and tidy up of the garden!
Marillia was lovely and very helpful even ordering takeaway pizza for us when we were hungry ! I would recommend a car as the villages and beaches around the villa are lovely and Lisbon is only a 35min drive away, although you can get basic things like milk and beer in the village a 5 min walk away!
The bedrooms were all well equipped stylish and good sizes, especially the ground floor bedroom with the en suite !
I would recommend this property for groups, friends and families

Casa dos Bambus - Brilliant weekend!

A group of 16 of us - all ladies, flew out to stay in this beautiful villa for the weekend. We had an absolutely fantastic time. Our representative Marilia was truly amazing....she could not have been more helpful!
We managed to fit in Wine tasting, a surfing lesson and an evening out in Sintra.
This property is very versatile, suitable for either familes or large groups with plenty to do close by.
I would highly reccommend this property. My friends were all very impressed and I'm sure we will be making further bookings.
This villa looks lovely in the pictures, but even better in real life!
Our only dissapointment is that we could not spend more time in this lovely property and the surrounding area.

Perfect break

I would strongly recomend this villa to any large grop or family. Our group had an excellent stay there. The villa was imaculate and really nicely decorated in a modern manner. It had every little thing you would possibly need and was really well organised. We all enjoyed the disco ligths in the pool at night! The villa was really well layed out and even though there were 16 of us staying there it didnt feel overcrouded atall.
The local village was very nice and the people were all very friendly. It has all the little bits you may need.
We visited the local town Sintra which was beautiful and it also has a really great little local bar which gets really lively and stays open till 4am.
We took part in a surf lesson at a local beach which was great fun and the beach was stunning.
Lisbon is in close range and is a very nice city to visit.
The only problem we had was that a weekend was not long enough, so next time we will be making it a longer stay!
The most special part of our trip was Marilia. She was so helpful and kind and made out trip really special. She made every thing so easy for us.
