Summer in Tuscany? Nice holiday rental in the Tuscan countryside. Charming villa with self catering accomodation and swimming pool. Panoramic views over the amazing Tuscan landscape. Not far from the charming golf course of Castelfalfi. Every bedroom is provided with its own bathroom. Comfort and authenticity, a wonderful place to stay. Though in the countryside, you are at a small distance from cultural sites like Pisa, Florence and Siena. And Volterra, San Gimignano and Lucca are even closer. It is so romantic to drive in this beautiful landscape and to discover nature and culture. When you fly to Pisa (cheap flights) it is only half an hour drive to reach this charming villa, in the Tuscan hills, surrounded by nature, sunflowers, olive trees and vineyards. On request a cook can come to make you a delicious Tuscan meal. Good restaurants, small markets, we will provide you with all the information.

The quiet village Montefoscoli (600 inhabitants) lies among the gently sloping hills of the Valdera, and has a great view towards Volterra and Pisa. Small shops, two bars, post office. The rural committee looks after guided tours in the 'Museo dellla Civiltà Contadina' and the 'Museo Andrea Vacca'. You can also visit the temple which Andrea Vacca, inhabitant of Montefoscoli and famous doctor in the Empire period, built in 1823, 1km outside of Montefoscoli The Vespaclub has its seat here (in Pontedera, nearby, is the Vespa-museum) For the rural festivals in May and in September everyone in the village is really committed. This is a village where tradition is important, and community sense a fact. In the surroundings of Montefoscoli beautiful walks can be made. Tenant gets descriptions for these walks, a plan, and tips for restaurants, markets, dinners at individuals, cook at your home address, tasting of Tuscan dishes etc. Not far from the golf of Castelfalfi (18 holes)

Notes: 'Gatto is a farmhouse situated in the peaceful tuscan countryside between Pontedera and Volterra, near the medieval village of Montefoscoli. The apartment Fragola is big and very tastefully furnished with antiques. Eacht bedroom has its own bathroom. Huge living room with fireplace and dining area. Private and calm outer space in the well kept garden. The swimmingpool with wonderful views and the large common room with impressive cross vaults, where ithe television is, add to the pleasure of staying here in Tuscany. Gatto - Fragola is on the first floor, that you reach through the beautiful outside staircase with balcony, that gives you wonderful views. You enter in the spacious livingroom with kitchen area, there are two bedrooms (both with double bed) and two bathrooms (one with shower and one with bathtub).
