Walking out of the door past your own stirag cave you are immediately in the main street with wine cellars, cafes, restaurants, hotel and local shops. All amenities within 100 yards with the histiric village of Barga a stone's throw away. Music festivals and Art exhibitions all year round. Surrounded by vineyards and with excellent bus/rail and road access Barga has a wonderful summer climate and excellent access to skiing in winter. The appartment gives maximum use of light and outside living with 2 patios, garden furniture and the private walled garden. Local produce is sold daily and street markets bustle at least once a week. World famous Lucca & Pisa music festival is nearby.

Barga is a medieval town full of restaurants, antique shops, opera, jazz and many cafes and wine bars. Perched on a hill the views from the appartment and the church are beyond description with fantastic mountains, vineyards and historic buildings to marvel at. The delights of Florence, Pisa, Lucca and rural Tuscany are only 45 minutes away by car, train or bus. Barga has everything for the self-catering tourist with wonderful local food shops, wine cellars, bakers and even a DVD rental agent. With a magnificent church, marriage services daily and sense of timelessness there is always time to take coffee at the local cafes and lunch at the many restaurants.

Taking access directly from the main street via secure gates the apartment is reached by passing into a charming vestibule next to a storage area that is locked and used by the apartments tenants. On the same level is access to the beautiful Tuscan garden locked and accessible to tenants with waterfall, garden furniture and lighting. From the lift access to the appartment is through large wooden doors into a very light, airy and easily managed space with fully fitted and high specification kitchen, breakfast bar, leather chairs, sofa bed and patio doors to front and side.
