A lovely villa

we have just returned from CasaToupeira which is set in a lovely location overlooking a valley, with views of the sea from the patio.
Some helpful information if you are planning to stay there,; use the fridge for drinks that the owners have put downstairs near the pool, this saves walking up the stairs to the kitchen. The villa from the front looks as though it's a single storey but it is built into the valley side and is 2 storeys. The bedrooms are downstairs and lounge and balconies upstairs. There is a BBQ on the patio which is obviously new and can't be seen in the photos. The west side balcony has the sun early evening and we found it a great place to have drinks. We were 6 adults. There is plenty of sun beds and plenty of chairs all of which are comfy. It's about a 15 minute walk to the main area of restaurants, but there is a great restaurant 2 mins away in arieas dos moinhos which serves good Portuguese food at good prices.there is a hill to walk up from the villa to the top and then it's down hill all the way.We got a taxi back some of the of the time. The villa has an alarm which the agents suggested we use and we always locked up the villa. We were met by the managers on arrival who showed us what we needed to know.Take note of how to open the pool cover, there is a technique ! We were told to put the cover on each night and in fairness this kept the pool warm enough for us not to need the pool heating on.It became one of our parties daily duty to uncover the pool in the morning and cover it in the evening.if you want a villa in a great setting within walking distance of the town then we would recommend this villa,it has all the mod.cons you need.
