Protaras holiday villa: Cape Greko

I stayed at the villa with my daughter and 4 year old granddaughter for a week at the end of September. As we were attending a family wedding at the Grecian Park Hotel during that week, the villa was ideally situated.
The personal help and advice from Donnla before our holiday was much appreciated and made things much easier for us.
When we first arrived, we were a bit concerned at the amount of new build in the vicinity but as the resort developes, trees and shrubs will soon make a difference to the somewhat barren new look of the area.
The villa itself was great, very clean and comfortable with room for a child to sprawl out without us tripping over her, so much better than a hotel room. The furnishings were modern and in good condition and the villa was well equipped and maintained. I think some extra towels and a change of linens could be provided as towels and sheets soon get grubby in warm weather. Also some bistro seating on the balcony would have been nice with a parasol or two by the sunbeds as the sun was still quite strong.
Although the villa was in a very quiet area we decided not to hire a car as it was easy to get a taxi or hop on a bus to go into Protaras and the supermarket round the corner was very handy.
We really liked the beach at Konnos Bay and spent quite a few hours there. The sea was warm and very shallow and we didn't have to worry about children splashing about or floating around on inflateable toys.
Although the area is not overrun with restaurants or tavernas the ones that are there are good and we thought prices were quite reasonable. We enjoyed our week there very much and would certainly stay at the villa again.
The only drawback to our stay was the pool area, it too would have benefitted from a parasol as it was in full sun for a great deal of the day. We found the pool quite small and the water too deep for a small child to feel comfortable in,it was also quite cold.
