This apartment is located in Lido quarter in beaches area in a quiet square. Water is not so deep in this part of Alghero Gulf, so swimming or diving will be easy and safe and the beach is a perfect games area for babies or little children. The beach has a free access area and some resort with deck chairs and beach umbrellas, pedalos. Bars and restaurants on the beach, pizzeria and supermarkets nearby. The flat is in a small building at 1st floor, parking is generally easy and free. Getting in you'll be in a large living room with a sofa (bed), table and 6 chairs, TV and terrace exit (sea view), beside, a kitchen well equiped with its terrace access as well. A passage will get you in, on right hand, a kingsize bedroom with wardrobe and balcony with a bathroom beside (washing machine, shower), on left hand a bunk beds bedroom with wardrobe and balcony access and a second bathroom just in front of (shower, WC) Apartment is bright and breezy; terrace amazing for lunch or dinner.

The apartment is in a beach area but also close to town by walk. The Sea Promenable will take you in about 5 minutes to the nice Marina where fishermen work daily in their fish boats, beside sailing boats beside the Promenade towards old Town. Along the walker side shops and bars, then, you'll get in Alghero Old Town or you could take the wall side which surround Old Town to appreciate the marvellous seaview and have a drink in one of the typical bars on the Walls. Hundred meters from apartment you could find 2 supermarkets, bank and a Post Office. On the beach you will enjoy sea activities as diving, surfing, swimming or simply running for miles. Tennis court are not farer than 500 meters in a green area behind the beach. Rentind a car you could spend a journey towards south & nice old town of Bosa through a panoramic road beside sea or discover the North and all beaches hidden in Alghero Gulf, at least visit the famous Capo Caccia caves getting a boat from Marina or by car & stairs.

Great stay 1st week of may 2009

I went together with my family to the Beautifull & pittoresk village of Alghero in the 1st week of may.
Although the nice and sandy Beach , which is really just 20 meters from the appartment wasn't really ready for the "tourist season".
The weather was great, not too hot but still very nice to swim in the most beautifull Blue sea I've ever seen in my Life.
about the appartment : it's very nice and clean , beds are very comfortable , the kitchen is big enough with all the utensils u need , there's a washing machine , which is nice for your dirty towels and stuff and there's a nice living/diningroom, big enough to sit with a big family.
on both sides of the appartment is a big balkony , so whenever u want to sit in the sun , morning or afternoons , there's always a possibilitiy for that!
Supermarkets are really close at walking distance and the sardinian people are very nice as well !
at the end of this story i could only say : Great vacation, and i'll deffinatelly come back !!!

This apartment is in great location.. beautiful safe town, would highly recommend for families of all ages.. great food, Walk to beach, town, restaurants.. Owners collected and dropped us from airport. Excellent service..
