Located on a landscaped plot of over 1200sq m overlooking the 12th 'Signature Hole' of the championship Golf Course designed by Dave Taylor, in the gated golf resort of Hacienda del Alamo. The generous living accommodation is spread over two levels. This luxury villa has been furnished and finished to a very high standard to create a charming and restful retreat in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Ideal for an all year round holiday, away from the hustle & bustle of life. The villa has A/C, heating and an open log fire offering comfortable accommodation throughout the year. The fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, hob, fridge, freezer and built in BBQ outside. A huge terrace surrounds the 10 x 5 meter pool, offering ample space for al fresco dinning and sunbathing. There are three double/twin bedrooms with the upstairs master bedroom having an en-suite shower room. There is a large TV showing all UK channels, a DVD player, CD player and radio.

Just minutes from the town of Fuente Alamo the villa is ideally placed for exploring the Murcia region of Spain. The port of Cartagena is a twenty minutes drive away offering a diverse range of shopping and historic sites. The beaches of Mazzaron, Los Alcazars and Los Narajas are all with in easy reach, each boasting long sandy beaches with paved walkways and endless bars and cafes. Great places to explore by day or night. If you tire of the golf course at Hacienda then the golf courses at La Manga are about 40 mins away, as is the Mar Menor and La Manga strip. Just a little further is the fishing port of Capo de Polo with some of the finest fish restaurants in the area, and costal walks. The city of Murcia is 30 mins north and boast a magnificent cathedral numerous historic buildings and shops to satisfy most retail therapy needs. Granada and the Alhambra Palace are about 2 1/2 hrs drive away but well worth the visit.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A non refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before departure. Bookings made within 8 weeks of the departure date will be charged in full at the time of booking.

    A 10% discount will apply to subsequent, consecutive weeks.

    A refundable deposit of £150.00 will be required to be paid with the balance of the rental. This will be refunded once the Villa and inventory have been checked for damage and loss by our local agent. Refunds will normally be made within two weeks of departure date.

    Rental charges include linen and towels, changed weekly. Water and electricity are included at normal consumption rates. Excessive usage will be deducted from the deposit.

  • The family bathroom is located downstairs in the lobby leading to the bedrooms. Equipped with a full size bath, a shower curtain and bath/shower mixer taps. A vanity style hand basin is built in to the ample storage cupboard with a large mirror, shaving mirror and shaver point. A low flush WC completes the facilities. The upstairs en-suite shower room has a fully enclosed shower cubicle with thermostatic controlled shower. A built in hand basin, with mirror, shaving mirror and shaver point over a large cupboard. Low flush WC. Ther is an outdoor shower adjacent to the pool.

  • Accessed by an open gallery over the lounge, the main bedroom is on the first floor. Equipped with twin beds that can be made up as a double this bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room. There is a large walk in wardrobe with ample hanging space shelves and draws. A further draw unit is in the bedroom. Double glazed doors lead to a balcony overlooking the terrace and golf course. A put you up bed is available for a child to share this room. The other two bedrooms lead of a lobby by the lounge and both are equipped with twin beds, built in wardrobes with draws and shelves. The second bedroom has windows over looking the front garden and a corner window looking out over the terrace to the golf course. Bedroom three overlooks the pool and golf course.

Notes: The large terrace provides plenty of space for sunbathing and relaxing. The brick built barbecue is to the side with access to the kitchen. Garden table and chairs complete the equipment for al fresco dining. There are four sun loungers. The washing machine is in the enclosed laundry to the side of the main building. There is a car port to the front and plenty of space for off road parking for at least three cars. Pool and garden lights are controlled from switches in the lounge. Air conditioning and heating are by a central unit covering the ground floor adjusted by a wall mounted controller. The first floor bedroom has its own wall mounted unit with remote controller. During the winter the log burning open fire adds to the ambiance. The TV picks up most satellite stations and has a DVD player attached.

On site management excellent
1st class golf course
Many interesting places to visit,satnav is a great help.
Great restaurants ,Must try Stallon's in Fuente Town.
I have been to the Villa twice. 1st visit Nov07, 65th birthday special, great time even in the pool in Nov.2nd visit April 08,again perfect weather, Villa garden looks great, also a new dishwasher had been fitted ,great help.
Owners very helpful, pool area is a great sun trap,could not wish for more, watch the golf with a drink by the pool. GREAT. Hope to return as soon as possible

Suprisingly Modern

We stayed this summer for 2 weeks at the height of the sun and had a great time. Pool is an excellent size, perfect for swimming and playing due to it being large and the sun lounger area is peaceful and great for sunbathing. Interior is excellent and very modern and all UK main channels which is a great bonus. Kitchen was great and dishwasher a help - bedrooms spacious and en-suite great for us. Resort and surroundings is a bit bare so be prepared to drive about for where you want to go - I did too much and wish we had stayed in the Villa more to appreciate its pool better. Golf great if a little tricky - my fault not the course!!! Take your own clubs if you can - rental a bit steep. Practice course is great value though with 6 holes at 27€ which you can play as often as you like within the same day. 3 par 3's and 3 par 4's. There is a driving range as well - pack a 7 iron only and just keep your swing grooved! Great BBQ in the villa and a separate outhouse for the washing was brilliant. For going out and about I recommend Murcia for town shopping (Cartegena a bit bare) and there are plenty of Markets - Molina De Segura has the best one, just north of Murcia. Mazzaron is closest for the beech - about 25 mins - don't take the main road - take the south road out of Fuento Alamo - miss the AP7 - too expensive and take a great hill road on the 332. Mar Menor is great and we spent several days in Torrevieja which has good shopping and a great water park (second day is free so make sure you go when you have 2 days free together) - good shops also at San Javier on the 332. Park Mediterianian on the way to Cartegena on the A30 also very good. Stay in for more days and keep in mind you'll need a good map or sat nave to get out an about and you'll be fine. Recommended.

Fantastic Villa

Villa was beautifull, first class views accross the golf course. Interior was modern and really well laid out.
2nd time stopping at Hacienda and rate this villa better than the property we stayed at only 5 villas up the road in 2008 and also a lot better value for money and much larger than the villa we stayed at on Polaris World El Valle.
Kids loved the pool and the large plot the villa is set on
Defiantly recommend villa and will be looking to come back either late this year or next summer.
