Two possible flying options:-

It is possible to hire a car but some companies don't let you take the cars cross-border.
2. To fly into Ercan Airport most international carriers have to touch down in Turkey first before flying onto Cyprus (If you wanted this does give you the opportunity to stop over in Istanbul for a visit). It is a 35 minute taxi ride from the airport (approx £25 - 30 each way). Car hire is possible (approx £25/day)
Your surroundings:
From the villas it's about 2.5 km to the sea, which is 5 minutes by car. The beaches are beautiful and sandy - sunbeds and umbrellas are available to hire. There is a beach front restaurant from which you can watch the sunset. There is also a private beach area called Escape Beach, for which you have to pay an entry fee. This is approximately 10 minutes drive from the villas.
There are several traditional restaurants within walking distance from the villa. The local town of Alsancak is 15 minutes walk and it has supermarkets, several butchers and fishmongers. There is an internet cafe too. The nearest bank with a cash point is 15 minutes drive away in the next village.
A wonderful place to holiday:
This is a wonderful relatively unspoilt part of the Mediterranean to enjoy a great holiday. The fantastic villas cater for families, groups of relatives and friends. In the Spring and Easter they provide a great place for walking holidays and exploring more of the islands rich history. There is also an abundance of wildlife to be seen with many varieties of birds and orchids. Experienced local guides are available to give guided walks. In May it's possible to go on a night watch and see the turtles come ashore to lay their eggs; in August the baby turtles hatch and return to the sea.
