Pamporovo is the sunniest ski resort in Bulgaria, situated at 75 km away from the second largest town Plovdiv. It is located on the Snezhanka peak, 1650 m over the sea level. The total length of the ski tracks in the region is around 35 km, and the length of the rope-lines is 12 km. The resort provides perfect conditions for winter and summer vacations in a delightful mountain atmosphere, magnificent forests and great many opportunities for entertainment

Pamporovo is the pearl of the Bulgarian ski resorts is situated in the heart of the Rhodopi Mountains. It’s 260km away from the capital Sofia and 85km South from Plovdiv and 15 km away from Smolyan. One day on the Pamporovo slopes is enough to give you a gold suntan as it proudly called one of the most sunny resorts in Bulgaria – sunny days here are more than 240. The climate is mild with Mediterranean influence. Average annual temperature is 8,5 C, the snow cover is 140-150 cm thick. The highest peak in the area is 1962m.

Pamporovo has been established in 1933. Since then the region keeps developing to a modern ski resort equipped with everything a visitor needs – starting from hotels, trading centers, restaurants, ski tracks etc. Pamporovo offers wonderful skiing opportunities, luxury comfort in high-class hotels of an original Rhodopes style, various entertainments and varied nightlife opportunities.

In Pamporovo you can also find recreation and rehabilitation centers . For those who like to explore there’s an Ethnographic Complex- Shiroka luka, Bachkovski Monastry, Dyavolskoto garlo cave, Trigrad Gorge Perpericon, Chudnite mostove – a rock phenomenon etc. nearby.

Ski: If you still don’t know how to ski, don’t worry – ski schools in Pamporovo are among the best in Europe! High-qualified instructors will teach you in groups or individually. Ski slopes in Pamporovo have a different difficulty, so no matter if a beginner or a professional you’d surely enjoy this unforgettable experience. Available for skiers there are 29km ski tracks for Alpine disciplines with different difficulty extent, 30km tracks for long run, nine ski cabinets and ski equipment by the world know companies Head, Orion, Atomic. For those of you looking for a shiver there are steep slopes, ski running and biathlon tracks for your needs. You can always try something different and more exiting as the half pipe(which has 3 walls and is 150m tall) or snowboarding.

Fantastic holiday - couldn't fault it. Very family friendly, in fact they love kids. Clean, safe and friendly with excellent facilities. Staff at the hotel couldn’t do enough for us. Apartment management looked after our every need and were there on site in case of any problems.
The traditional Bulgarian restaurant (Mehana) in the basement was superb and we were so well looked after. Only criticism was the pool a little cold but otherwise everything was spot on. Internet café, shops, bar. etc
Couldn't ask for a better location - it is central to all the bars and restaurants and the ski bus starts right outside so you are guaranteed a seat. When it is full, it just sails past all those waiting outside their hotels!!
Daks bar (also downstairs) has an excellent atmosphere and offers great value family meals. You can access the rest of Pamps by crossing the car park and entering the rear of the Perelik. From here you can get through most of he central bars, restaurants, hotels, bowling alley and skating rink without setting foot outside as they are interlinked by underground passages and walkways
Apartments well kitted out and many with great views – ours was stunning. Beds very very comfy and kitchen very well equipped. We were able to do cooking on the nights we didn't want to eat out.
All in all, fantastic value for money and we will be returning soon!
