Torre delle Stelle holiday villa

Torre delle Stelle information: There are 2 entrances to the main area of Torre Delle Stelle. One is opposite the Aquarium restaurant (the main office and church is at this entrance) and the other has a restaurant/pizzeria at the top of the road (this is the nearest to the house and the beach). Both are found on the road heading back towards Cagliari and are a couple of minutes drive away. As you drive down into Torre there are tennis courts. Our nearest beach has a car park right by it. You will also find the Palmeira supermarket which has a butcher, fishmonger and small bar attached to it. The easiest way to find them is to follow the signs to the supermarket.

Surrounding area: Cagliari is approx. 40 minutes drive away. If you stay with the coast road as opposed to the motorway it takes you to the famous Poetta beach. There are lots of restaurants and bars situated along the beach and if you continue on the road past the beach you will come to the beautiful old part of the city. If you turn left at the bottom of our hill you will be heading towards Villasimius approx 20 – 25 mins away. On this route you will see more breathtaking views and lots of little beaches. 4 mins drive away in Solanas is the well known Ristorante da Barbara. In Villasimius there are more excellent restaurants, bars and shops situated off the main street. There is also a beautiful beach where there is a beach restaurant that we use called the Picalo Oasis. If you want to travel further beyond Villasimius is the Costa Rei where the beach runs for miles.

Villasimius marina: Boat hire is available in Villasimius, approx 20 minutes drive away going eastwards along coastal road: (Villasimius is a seaside resort town, offering many leisure activities. A thriving marina provides boat hire facilities and boat outings to small islands off the coast. It has numerous facilities; 2 PADI 5 stars diving school, a sailing school,an 18 hole golf course, banks, a 24 hour medical centre, good shopping and restaurants.)

Golf: The new Tanka Golf Club in Villasimius is only 20 minutes drive from Villa Franca.
