Located on a south-facing hill, Casa San Paolo is about 2 km from the sea and enjoys wonderful views over the Tesino valley and the sea. The green and quiet surroundings make it ideal for a relaxing holiday. The light and spacious accommodation is on the ground floor with direct access to the fenced garden, where children can play safely and adults can unwind. The apartment was carefully refurbished and furnished in 2006 and it is large enough for guests to have their own space if they whish to read a book or watch TV. When it is cooler you can enjoy a cosy evening by the fireplace in the sitting room. There is a private parking area for your car. Grottammare is a pretty little town by the Adriatic sea where you'll find everything to spend an enjoyable and relaxing holiday: Italian beach life, cultural events, fun for the children and lots to do in the ways of sport and entertainment.

Grottammare is a pretty seaside town with a population of about 13,000. The sandy beaches and the gradual sloping of the seabed make Grottammare ideal for families with children. Grottammare has a modern part, near the sea, with restaurants, shops, chemists, doctors and banks, while on the hilltop medieval quarter you will feel transported back in time. From the 'Teatro dell'Arancio' or even further up from the Belvedere you can enjoy stunning views over Grottammare, San Benedetdel Tronto and the Adriatic Sea. A gentle breeze makes the temperarture pleasant even during hot days. On the seafront there are many bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a meal when you don't feel like cooking at home and hire parasols, deckchairs and sun beds for a day on the beach. Market day in Grottammare is Thursday.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The weekly price is calculated for 4 persons for July and August till mid-September. Children under 6 years old are free. For each additional person over 6 years there is a supplement of Euro 50,00 per week. Weekly price for 2 persons from mid-September to end of November Euro 300,00. Weekly price for 2 persons for December, January and February Euro 200,00. Weekly price for 2 persons for March, April, May and June Euro 300,00. For each additional person over 6 years old there is a supplement of Euro 50,00 per week. A 50 % deposit of the total price is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable on arrival when keys are handed over. There are no additional cost exept Euro 25,00 for final cleaning and any heating in winter. The owner lives on the first floor of the house.
  • It is possible to book one night stays. Total cost for one night (or day use) Euro 200,00, every additional night euro 100,00, but not exceeding the weekly total cost. Please ask us, we'll be happy to give you a quote. There are no additional costs exept Euro 25,00 for final cleaning and any heating costs in winter.
  • For last minute bookings (10 days or less before arrival) there is a reduction of Euro 50,00 per week and a child up to 14 years old free.

Großzügige Ferienwohnung in reizvoller Gegend

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Wir waren zu zweit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Terasse konnten wir trotz super Wetters leider nicht so ausgiebig nutzen, da es sehr viele Mücken gab. Ohne Autan wurde man regelrecht aufgefressen. In der Wohnung war das kein Problem. Die Vermieterin ist ausgesprochen nett und steht einem bei Bedarf mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Grottamare ist ein hübscher kleiner Ort und gut geeignet Urlaub am Meer mit Ausflügen in die nähere und weitere Umgebung zu verbinden.Ende September war es noch warm genug zum Baden und in der Sonne liegen, Wir waren begeistert von der reizvollen Landschaft, den vielen schönen Orten mit ihren historischen Altstädten und den Sybillinischen Bergen, die nur 2 Autostunden vom Meer entfernt sind. Die Restaurants haben ein sehr gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis, so das wir wenig selber gekocht haben. Dieser Teil von Italien ist mehr als nur eine Reise wert, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

großzügig und gemütlich

Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Jungs (6 und 9 Jahre) in der Ferienwohnung und haben sowohl die Großzügigkeit der Wohnung als auch der Vermieterin sehr geschätzt. Die Kinder konnten im Garten Fußball spielen, während wir auf der Terasse lesen konnten. Drin war genug Platz zum malen und spielen oder auch mal fernsehen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet. Alle Betten hatten Mücknnetze als Schutz. Den Ort fanden wir auch optimal, um entweder am feinen Sandstrand im flachabfallenden, schön warmen Meer baden zu gehen (keine Gefahr auch für Nichschwimmer!) oder durch die Altstadt mit traumhaften Weitblick zu schlendern oder viele Ausflüge zu unternehmen zu Burgen im Hinterland, Muschelmuseum, Kletterpark, Ascoli Piceno und die beeindruckende Höllenschlucht mit Wasserfällen den Bergen. Ein Auto sollte mal dafür dabei haben.
Für uns war es ein wundervoller Urlaub!

Beschreibung stimmt genau! Mit dem Fahrrad oder auch mit dem Auto ist man Ruck zuck an der herrlichen Strandpromenade.1 Fisch- Restaurant neben dem anderen, faire Preise für tolles Essen und das beste Eis der Welt..
Gerne zieht man sich dann in die schöne, großzügige Ferienwohnung zurück, genießt die Ruhe und die herrliche Natur drum herum.Abends noch einen Spaziergang vom Haus weg , an Blumengärten und Feldern vorbei,nachAlt-Grottamare.
Davor noch ein leckeres ital. Essen gekocht in der gemütlichen Wohnküche. Einkaufen kann man Frisches an jeder Ecke.Super erholt kam ich zu Hause an- ich komme wieder.
P.S.: Die Vermieterin ist wirklich außerordentlich nett!

Ruhiges Feriendomizil mit Charme

Wer ruhig und trotzdem nah am Meer sein will, ist hier
gut aufgehoben. Sehr nette tolerante Vermieterin, die
man nie hört. Toller Blick auf Olivenhaine, Spaziergänge
vom Haus ins Hinterland mit viel Landwirtschaft sehr gut
machbar.Auch nach Alt-Grottammare zu Fuß gut möglich.
Zum Meer sind Auto oder Räder sinnvoll. Großer Garten
für Kinder, Yoga, Lesen etc (mit Schatten)- super !
Gemütliche Kleinstadt (außer August) mit netten Bars
am Strand entlang. Spaziergänge bis zu 10 km am Strand
möglich.

schöner platz mit guter lage

wir wohnten knapp 2 wochen dort.es ist eine schöne wohnung in der wir uns sehr wohl fühlten+mit hund völlig problemlos war.die lage ist ideal um schnell am meer zu sein oder den kleinen städchen am lungomare als auch ausflüge ins hinterland zu unternehmen.die vermieterin eine ausgesprochen nette dame bewohnt den oberen teil des hauses.sie lebt seit langem dort + steht mit rat + tips zur seite wenn man will.ansonsten ist man völlig für sich.
kurzum es war eine schöne zeit dort + wir können uns durchaus vorstellen dort einmal wieder zu wohnen.einzig sei gesagt,die wohnung ist sehr großzügig aber bei vollbelegung wie in der beschreibung wär es uns dann wohl zu eng.aber daß ist ja auch individuell
