Situated in the hamlet of La Doinie we are just two kilometers from the stunningly pretty village of Sainte Genies.
Full of some of the most beautiful and authentic buildings, Sainte Genies is a buzzing village which offers a colourful weekly market brimming with local vegetables and produce. There is an array of little shops including a bakery and a butcher. During the summer there is a weekly night market which is an experience not to be missed with stalls selling a huge choice of hot & cold gastronomic delights from which you choose each course and enjoy your meal at tables in the centre of the square. The medieval town of Sarlat is also close by and is a must on a visit to the Dordogne, with more listed buildings than any other town in Europe & a famous twice weekly market. Sarlat also offers a superb choice of restaurants & a shops and a really laid back atmosphere making a visit here enjoyable and truly memorable. The area is full of chateaux, villages and super countryside.
