Located in Calahonda, only 20-30 minutes from Malaga Airport, this villa is a large modern property. It has been recently fitted out and is newly furnished and decorated to a high standard. It is ideal for two families with children or for extended family groups. The extensive accommodation is on 3 floors, with two kitchens, two large living/dining areas and lots of outdoor space. The villa is south facing and the various balconies, three large terraces, garden and private pool provide plenty of outdoor space for relaxing and enjoying the great Spanish weather. The villa is a quiet location only 5 minutes drive from local amenities and shops and is conveniently located for trips to the many beautiful beaches, golf courses and other tourist attractions of the Costa del Sol. A few restaurants and bars are also within walking distance. The lower floor can be used as a self contained 2 bedroom apartment and in off peak periods this may be available to let separately.

Calahonda is an attractive well established urbanisation situated between Marbella and Fuengirola. It is only 20-30 minutes drive from Malaga airport. Calahonda offers easy access to the many beautiful beaches, waters sports, golf courses and other tourist attractions of the Costa del Sol. It is only a short drive to the fashionable ports of Puerto Banus & Marbella known for their shopping and great night life. Within 5 minutes drive of the villa are 3 commercial areas with supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and bars, with every amenity for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. There is also a 9 hole golf course and a further 10 golf courses within a 10km radius. The villa is near many nearby beaches. The closest are within 20 minutes drive, such as Cabopino (which has some good restaurants/bars) and Elviria beaches. The water park and zoo at Fuengirola are also only 15 minutes drive away. The local tennis, squash and fitness centre at 'Club del Sol' is close by (use on pay/play basis).

Additional information about rental rates

  • For smaller groups, in mid and low season, you can rent just the top two floors (sleeps 8 plus a cot) at reduced rental rates (please email for a quote) or the lower floor can be rented as a separate apartment (sleeps 4 persons and a cot) for £375 a week in low season and £450 in mid season. Prices may change at the owners discretion.
    50% of the booking fee (payable in £ or euros) is required as a deposit upon booking with the balance of the fee due 8 weeks before arrival.

    A refundable breakages deposit of £500 or 600 euros is required when the balance of the booking fee is paid 8 weeks before arrival. This will be reimbursed after your departure (subject to inspection by our housekeeper) by bank transfer to your account or by cheque (£ sterling payments only) posted to your home address.
    We can accept payment in GBP by cheque or bank transfer or for payments in euros, by bank transfer to our Spanish bank account. Our booking form will have full details of payment methods.
  • Sorry but we do not take bookings for stag or hen parties or large groups of young adults.
  • Additional cleaning and extra linen is available from our housekeeper at extra charge (payable locally).

Notes: The accommodation is on 3 floors so families can holiday together but also have their own space. The top and middle floors can be used as a self contained 4 bedroom property and the lower floor accommodation can be used as a 2 bedroom open plan apartment with its own separate access if required (the interconnecting door between the middle floor and lower floor accommodation can be locked). All rooms are fully air conditioned (hot or cold) with simple to use hand sets and wall controls. The property has two fully equiped kitchens. On the middle floor the fully fitted tiled kitchen has doors out onto a large balcony where there is an outside dining table and a large automated sun canopy. The second kitchen is on the lower floor in the large open plan living/dining area and the door from here leads to the outside dining area, pool and garden. There is a washing machine in both kitchens. Clothes dryers are available for hanging out wet clothes and beach towels.

2 Living room and dining areas: There is a large living room and dining area on the middle floor - Next to the kitchen there is a spacious living room with a large corner leather sofa, a dining table and chairs for six, a fire place, a coffee table and a large wall mounted flat screen television with freeview satellite channels (english speaking) and a DVD player. A door from the living room leads out onto the large balcony and outside dining area. The lower floor has a large open plan living, kitchen and dining area. There is a large glass dining table with 6 chairs, a large corner leather sofa, a coffee table, a large wall mounted flat screen television with free view satellite channels (English speaking) and a DVD player. From here you walk outside onto the middle terrace where there is a large dining table and seating for 8. All furniture and appliances were new in 2008.

Outside areas: The middle floor kitchen has a large balcony and outside dining area. There is a second outside dining area on the middle terrace (next to the lower floor kitchen). We have sun loungers, side tables, 2 large parasols, and a new fully equipped gas BBQ available for use in the outside areas. The villa has a gated well planted and terraced sloping garden and a small lawned area. There are several large terraces on different levels connected by steps. The villa’s fully maintained chlorinated pool (unheated) is on the upper terrace. The outside areas are ideal for outdoor dining, private sunbathing and there is plenty of space for children to play. The villa has a walled perimeter which provides a safe and private environment. The southern boundary overlooks a steep sided natural valley. On the opposite side of the valley are apartments. Parking: There is one secure parking space inside the front gate and plenty of space for parking on the road outside the villa.

Children and House keeper: Children - a cot, high chair and stair gates are available on request. All balcony doors have been fitted with high bolts for child safety purposes if required. For families with young children, it is possible to restrict access to the pool from the middle terrace by locking the gate when required. Housekeeper - our English housekeeper and her team are on hand to ensure you enjoy your stay. Additional housekeeping and linen can be arranged with our housekeeper at extra charge (payable locally). Small welcome grocery packs can be arranged if sufficient notice is given (payable locally).
