Within easy reach of Frayssinet-Le-Gélat there are numerous villages and towns where you can find centuries old bastides (fortified towns) chateaux, houses and churches.
Our village also benefits from a mediaeval church with working bell-tower that chimes the hour and half hour. We are conveniently situated on the main road from the village adjacent to a small working garage, giving easy access to all the amenities.
Most local villages and towns have wonderful markets throughout the week where you can browse and purchase fabulous local produce including fruit and vegetables, honey, cheese, and of course, the lovely local wines.
