A castle dating back to the 11Th century offers a rare chance to experience the full glory of old, aristocratic Tuscany. Sleeps up to 12 guests. Located in a glorious position only 20Mn's drive on the east of Florence.There is also an active farm producing excellent wines, grappa, which can be tasted and purchased on the premises. This fortified property enjoys marvellous views over the valley, rich in woodlands that stretches as far as its boundaries. This finely restored property is furnished with some valuable pieces of antiques in complete harmony with the modern amenities available. The stately villa comprises part of the 'decapitated' tower that boasts a 360 degree view over the verdant valley. The gracefully kept gardens of Italian style are house of the stunning swimming pool which is half built within the covered area that used to be a lemon house.
