Self-catering family holiday rental sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet ( 1 double with own bathroom, 1 twin with ensuite toilet and sink and two twins). Spacious living room with views (see photo) of the sandy beach opposite and cliff tops. Fully equipped kitchen and a dinning room to seat 8. Outdoor furniture supplied in the enclosed garden. The house is opposite a clean sandy beach, perfect for family holidays. The house is 2 minute walk to a rocky beach which is ideal for rock pooling and exploring. It has a naturally occurring sea water swimming pool. Plenty of coastal walks to local beaches and towns. 2 miles from Padstow, a picturesque harbour fishing town with plenty of restaurants including Rick Stein's fish restaurant, bistro and fish and chips.

Easy cycling along the camel trail from Padstow to Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin. Plenty of coastal walks between beaches. Picturesque villages near by - Boscastle, St. Ives, Tintagel. Watersports, plenty of surf and surf lessons at Trevone and nearby beaches. Eden Project is one of the UK's top gardens and conservation tourist attractions. “A living theatre of plants and people.” The gardens of Heligon – “the lost garden”.

The house was easy to find, and in a perfect location for a great beach or walking holiday.The house is the best equipped holiday home we have ever stayed in.It has everything you need for a self catering holiday.And I mean everything.It was spottless clean, with plenty of materiels to clean as you go. We stayed in Feb half term, although the bedrooms decor is a little old fashioned for my taste , they were very clean, with comfortable beds.The lounge has a real homely feel,provided with plenty of games to occupy the kids should the weather be poor.We were lucky the weather was fab and the boys surfed every day.The view from the bungalow is great,aimlessly watching the tide roll in and out. I guess in high season It could be a little busy though with the beach car park opposite.Great coffee and pasty's in shop opposite with Graham the owner offering a host of local information as well as wet suit hire.House is cosy and warm having storage heaters. Buckets and spades for kids in the shed also were fab.Local pub offer ok pub food, but they are friendly and welcoming, pool,darts and arcade games for kids. Thanks go to Meriel for letting us use your home we will return.
